I was really looking forward to trying out the new Child's Foam Mousse Bright Water My Darling from Chizhik, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.
Child's Foam Mousse Bright Water My Darling, review The full name of the product is a cosmetic bathing agent for children, a colored foam mousse called "My Darling" in a green color. I was expecting a fun, kid-friendly product, but what I got was a disappointment.➡️ Price: I paid 179 rubles for it, but I'm pretty sure I got a discount. In different online stores, the price tags are from 200 rubles for the same product. To be honest, I think it's a bit pricey for what you get.
➡️ Volume of the bottle: It comes in a 200 ml bottle. That's a pretty standard size, but it didn't last very long with my kid.

The "green" label on the front of the bottle and in the product name refers to the color of the foam. I think "green" is a bit of an exaggeration, though. It's more of a pale, washed-out green.
The bottle is metal, under pressure, so the product is considered flammable and recommended for children over 1 year old under adult supervision. This is indicated on the back of the bottle, so it's not a 0+ product and not for playing with in the bathtub alone. I was surprised to see this warning, to be honest.
However, the information on the back is written in very small print, and it's quite hard to read without straining your eyes. I had to squint to make out the fine print.
Child's Foam Mousse Bright Water My Darling, reviewPump dispenser closes with a small lid. It presses down easily, but kids might not always gauge the force of the press, and they tend to squeeze out way too much product at once. So don't be surprised if this foam mousse runs out really quickly. My kid ended up using it all up in one go. My favorite, review - детская пенка-мусс Яркий арбузSmell is pretty distinctively watermelon-like from the bottle, but it's not a natural smell - more like a cosmetic chemical smell. But that's just the first impression, and when you sniff it properly, you notice there are other notes in there too. I'm not sure exactly what it smells like, but when it comes into contact with wet skin, the smell changes almost completely, and the watermelon scent takes a backseat. To be honest, I get some weird associations with this smell, like maybe even some construction chemicals in similar pressurized bottles. It's definitely not the sweet aroma of a ripened watermelon.xa0
Texture is pretty weird - it's soft, but still holds its shape when you mold it with your hands. It's got a bit of spring to it and feels super similar to shaving cream texture-wise. My kid loves playing with it, though.
My favorite, review - детская пенка-мусс Яркий арбузIt spreads really easily, so you can get a pretty even layer on the skin. That's a plus, I guess.Color is a really pale green, almost like a hint of green. That's why I say it's more of a pale green than a full-on green. It's not the vibrant green I was expecting.
My favorite, review - детская пенка-мусс Яркий арбузFoaming isn't really a thing with this product, because when you try to lather it up, it just spreads across your skin like shaving cream. I tried adding more water, but then it just dissolves, and you don't get any foam at all. I never managed to figure out how to get this product to foam like it's supposed to. That was really frustrating. My favorite, review - детская пенка-мусс Яркий арбуз
My Little Joy, ReviewPlaying with this foam like it's snow wasn't quite as fun as I thought it'd be. The ball just sticks to both dry and wet hands instead of bouncing off. It's not as much fun as I thought it would be.
My Little Joy, ReviewMy Little Joy, ReviewI've ended up using this product for washing my hands simply because it's there and my kid likes the foam. It does clean the skin, I guess.
You can technically wash your hands completely with this foam, and it's said to clean the skin of minor dirt. But it doesn't really lather up, so it's not the most effective hand soap.
It washes off easily, I'd even say really easily. The scent does linger, though it's not the sweet aroma of an arbuza. It's more like a chemical smell.
No dryness on the skin after using this foam, though it does take off some moisture. I still apply lotion afterwards, personally.
I tried using this foam for shaving my legs and it works surprisingly well – like it was made for that! It's actually pretty good for shaving.
My Little Joy, ReviewBreaking it down, my experience with this My Little Joy foam comes down to:Good that it has a dense texture kids find fun to play with,
Good that it doesn't dry out the skin,
Good that it cleans the skin of sweat and minor dirt.

Bad that it's not green,
Bad that it doesn't smell like an arbuza,
Bad that it doesn't dispense properly, too much foam comes out with the slightest press,
Bad that it doesn't foam up at all,
Bad that it's not worth the money with so many 'nots'.

Considering all this, I'd give it a 3 out of 10. None of the promised characteristics – foaming or springing back as a ball – work as expected. And don't even get me started on the arbuza scent; it's basically nonexistent. It's just not worth the price.
Honestly, I'd only recommend this product if your kid is really resistant to washing their hands and needs something to pique their interest.
