We picked up this ceramic heater as a quick way to warm up our cabin, alongside our trusty wood stove.

This thing really delivers when we need a boost of heat. When we're heading out to the cabin during cold weather, we fire it up while we're still getting the wood stove going. It heats a 25 sq. ft. space pretty quickly, but the effectiveness really depends on the outside temperature. We've tried it at both 0 and -10 degrees, and within 1-2 hours, the air inside is comfortably warm. That's a big deal when you're out in the middle of nowhere.The best part is, there's no nasty smell, and it's relatively quiet - way quieter than our old "Wind Machine". My wife even likes it, and she's the one who usually complains about the noise.

The heater itself is lightweight and easy to move around with its handle. It's got two heat settings, and you can even use it as a fan (though we haven't had to yet). We've found it's a great value for money, considering how well it works.

One thing to watch out for: you'll need decent wiring and ideally a separate circuit. We learned that the hard way when we tried to use it with our stove and everything shut down. Now, we just plug it in and let it do its thing while we're cleaning up the driveway.
