Ceramic Heater Equation with Electronic Thermostat, 1800W

I've got a secret for beating those freezing days: the Ceramic Heater Equation. This thing packs a serious punch - 1800 watts of power to get you warm in no time. It's perfect for when you just need a quick warmth boost. The ceramic construction and electronic thermostat make it a reliable choice for indoor heating needs.

My Cozy Little Secret for Winter: A Budget-Friendly Ceramic Heater

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm obsessed with this affordable ceramic heater from Leroy Merlin. For just 2200 rubles, it's been a total game-changer for me during the freezing winter months. Not only does it warm up my space quickly, but it's also super quiet and doesn't dry out the air like some other heaters I've used. Plus, it's built to last, with solid buttons and a battery life that lasts longer than I expected. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm so glad I made the purchase. I've noticed it's really easy to use, with a simple electronic thermostat that gets the job done. It's also energy-efficient, with a 1800W power rating, which is a major plus for me. I've been able to save energy by turning it off when not in use, and it's been a great value for money.

I'm so glad I can share this with you guys, especially with the freezing temps outside, -20 degrees Celsius. But I'm cozy inside, thanks to this amazing ceramic heater I picked up from Leroy Merlin for a steal - just 2200 rubles. It's one of the most affordable models, but it's a real workhorse.
I'll tell you more about it.
______________________________________________________
Name: On Leroy Merlin's website, it's called the 'Equation Ceramic Electric Heater with Electronic Thermostat, 1800W', but on the box, it's just a simple 1800W ceramic heater.
Where to buy: You can find it on Leroy Merlin's website, or in-store. I'm not sure if it's available elsewhere, since this is a Leroy Merlin-exclusive model.
Price: 2200 rubles.
Website: [link]
Manufacturer: Equation. This is a Leroy Merlin brand.
Equation is a trade mark of climate control equipment, water heaters and sanitary ware. The brand Equation belongs to the company 'Leroy Merlin' - one of the largest European DIY-retailers. The product range includes split systems, fans, convective heaters, air purification systems and others.
Type: Ceramic heater.
Ceramic heaters are a modern type of heat storage and transfer. Their operation is based on heating up an element consisting of ceramic plates.

I bought this for my 8-year-old's bedroom, so safety and ease of use were top priorities, as I wanted them to be able to use it on their own with some guidance from me. (Officially, it's recommended for kids over 8 to use it with parental supervision and after explaining how to use it. Kids between 3 and 8 can turn it on and off with parental presence.
I still keep an eye on them, but the point is that kids can understand how this simple device works.
I'll break down the pros and cons of this little gadget.
PROS OF USING IT
1. It's super stylish. The heater is small, light, and comes in a sleek black design that looks expensive and adds to the room's decor. The front panel has a sensor - thermostat that's subtly lit up with a white glow.
2. Safety first. This is probably the safest model out there. My kid uses it freely, and it's equipped with an electronic thermostat that lets you set the desired temperature - no room for error!
3. No scorching air. Some models can really dry out the air after 30 minutes, but this one keeps it comfortable. I use it with a humidifier to minimize dryness, but overall, it works great.
4. Packed with power. It heats up a standard room in no time - literally within minutes.
5. Low noise level. It's incredibly quiet, with just a slight hum that's almost unnoticeable. If you're not paying attention, you'll forget it's even on.
6. Easy peasy. The interface is super intuitive - all the icons are self-explanatory. From the top, you can turn it on, then tap the three horizontal lines to increase the temperature, set a specific temperature in degrees, use the timer, and finally, press the icon to rotate the heater left or right, increasing the heating area and speed.
6. Price. That's a major factor, since there are all sorts of space heaters in stores, including some really pricey ones. So, I've been wondering, is it worth splurging on a more expensive one? Maybe it's better, right? But this little guy's got almost no drawbacks, so the price tag of around $2,000 is a total bonus.

MINUSES
To be honest, I don't see any right now. Maybe they'll turn up later, and I'll update this review, but so far, this space heater's been working flawlessly.
________________________________________________________
The unit comes with a box, an instruction manual, and it's pretty straightforward to use. It just plugs into a regular outlet.
The manual explains everything you need to know about setting it up, cleaning, and disposing of the unit.
Important note: this space heater doesn't like water, but it does need to be cleaned. Use a vacuum to clean it, especially the vents, where dust tends to accumulate.
This little guy's a real workhorse!
Thanks for reading!
