I'm still shaken after a harrowing experience at Avva Vet Clinic on Yalta Highway in Simferopol. My poor dog, Asti, woke up with a severely swollen tongue, and I rushed her to the only 24-hour clinic in our area.
They took her in for treatment, and the doctor on duty, along with the clinic's head, examined Asti and prescribed multiple injections and IV drips, convinced it was an allergic reaction. We spent over 4 hours at the clinic, and I was getting more and more worried by the minute.
The worst part was when they sent us home without any noticeable improvement, telling us to wait till evening. It felt like they were giving up on us.
I didn't wait around to see what would happen. I took Asti to a different clinic, where the doctor managed to remove the root cause of the problem in just 2 minutes. I owe him one.
