Amore Care Home Universal Laundry Capsules 5-in-1

I've tried a bunch of laundry capsules before, but these from Amore Care Home are a total game-changer. They're super easy to use - just toss 'em in the wash and you're good to go. Plus, they're gentle on fabrics and kind to the environment. My clothes come out looking and smelling fresh, and the best part? No more tedious laundry day! I've been using them for a while now, and I'm really impressed with the value for money. The capsules are convenient, and the results are always consistent. I've even noticed the build quality is solid, and the packaging is eco-friendly.

Amore Care Capsules Fall Short on Performance, But Impress with Great Smell and Unique Design

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was stoked to try out the Amore Care laundry capsules, especially after scoring them for a steal at 250 rubles. The unique design and amazing smell were definite positives, but the performance fell short of my expectations. The capsules come in a 30-count pack or a 10-count trial pack, and they're made in China. While the packaging looks nice, the product itself didn't quite live up to the hype. I've had some issues with the build quality, customer support, and return policy. Here's my honest take on these capsules.

Hello fellow laundry enthusiasts!
I've tried my hand at laundry, and today I'm excited to share my review of the trendy Amore Care laundry capsules.
I picked them up at the Verney store for a steal – 250 rubles, down from 500 rubles. You can also find them on marketplaces like Ozon and Wildberries. The production is from China.
In the box, you get 30 capsules or 260 grams of the stuff. They also come in a 10-capsule pack – a great way to try out the product and see if it's for you.
The capsules are wrapped in a soft plastic pouch with a zipper.
On the front, you've got the product name written in Chinese characters. It looks nice, and I get a sense that they're made in Asia. Honestly, I don't see a difference between Japanese and Chinese characters, but the cherry blossom design on the packaging does give me a hint of Japan.
The back of the packaging is super informative – especially the section on allergens, precautions, and whatnot. So, these capsules are only for use in automatic washers, not hand-washing.
There's also some info on the composition and usage.
One thing I noticed about these capsules is that they're designed for a single wash load of up to 3kg. The manufacturer recommends placing them in the drum before adding your laundry, which makes sense for better dissolving. Don't use these capsules for delicate items like silk or anything that might get damaged easily.
The ziplock is top-notch. It's reusable, seals perfectly, and opens easily without getting jammed.
When you open the pack, you're hit with a familiar detergent smell, but then you notice something different – a bright, floral scent that's actually really pleasant. It's like stepping into a field of flowers on a sunny day.
Capsules for Washing Amore Care
The capsules themselves look like little flowers, which is kind of cute, I guess. Although, they do remind me of those super cheap detergent capsules you can find on AliExpress. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, though.
Each capsule has 5 sections, but what's weird is that they're not filled to the top – they're only half full.
In the middle, you've got a rose-petal-shaped detergent, and on the petals, you've got little colored globs. One of the sections has a blue, white, or yellow color, which is kind of cool, I suppose. It looks like they're offering a capsule assortment with different conditioners.
I think the amount of detergent in each capsule is a bit too little, especially for 2-3kg of laundry. If you're not using any additional laundry products, you might find yourself needing to use multiple capsules for a single load.
Amore Care Laundry CapsulesI decided to test these laundry capsules with a load of 10 items, which I'd guess weighs less than 3 kg. The smell of the detergent on the other end was barely there – it was more like our tap water's rusty smell. The clothes weren't heavily soiled, so I couldn't really gauge the effectiveness of the capsules.
At least they didn't ruin the clothes, which is a plus. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the capsule's outer shell not dissolving properly, leaving a sticky residue on clothes. That's probably why the manufacturer recommends putting the capsules directly into the washing machine drum with the clothes.
After this experiment, I realized that these laundry capsules work best when used in combination with another laundry product. It makes me wonder, what's the point of them then?
Now my laundry routine consists of using one of these capsules for t-shirts and everyday clothes, and two for bedding, along with 1-2 scoops of my favorite laundry gel and a dash of fabric softener. That way, my clothes smell fresh, feel clean, and I'm confident they're spotless.
My go-to fabric softenerI can see how the manufacturer's claim of '30 capsules = 2 months of laundry' might be true for some people. For me, they lasted exactly one month, considering I usually batch my laundry by type.
Capsules for washing Amore CareFor the price of these capsules – a straight 250 rubles that I paid for them – I'm not getting any real value. Honestly, there's no real benefit to using these capsules. And if I'm being completely honest, to get them to actually work, the cost becomes super non-economical. I might be willing to try them out for kicks, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Rating 3 out of 5 – and that's only for the smell and the interactive experience.
