A Wild Ride Continues: Book 5 of the Mula Series

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm hooked on this series, and book 5 is no exception. Mula's project has come back to haunt him, and he's still got a long way to go to resolve the issues. The story takes a philosophical turn with a tough boss and a growing number of people who need to go to Yugoslavia, but there are only 16 spots available. Mula's personal life is also getting complicated, with his mom kicking out his stepdad and his wife. It's a wild ride, and I'm eager to see how it all unfolds.

I'm hooked on this series, and book 5 is no exception. Mula's project has come back to haunt him, and he's still got a long way to go to resolve the issues. Now, he's dealing with a tough boss who's got a philosophical approach to life, and a growing number of people who need to go to Yugoslavia. The problem is, there are only 16 spots available, but over 10 people who 'need' to go. It's a tough call, and Mula's not making it easy for himself.
Mula's personal life is also getting complicated, with his mom kicking out his stepdad and his wife. He's got a lot on his plate, and it's not getting any easier.
As the story unfolds, Mula's got to decide whether to go to Yugoslavia or not. And just when you think it's all over, a new twist comes along. I love how the author brings the nuances of the time period to life, even if it's a bit formulaic. It's like they're saying, 'Hey, people are people, but our lives are a lot easier today.'
I highly recommend this series - there are only two books left to go! The characters are well-developed, and the plot is engaging. I found myself wondering what would happen next. If you're a fan of historical fiction, you'll love this series. It's a wild ride, and I'm hooked. Check out the rest of the Mula series:
