My Experience with SDERU
I'm preparing a comprehensive video expose on SDERU on YouTube, which will cover all cases, including mine. Hopefully, many people will stop using this deliberately unreliable courier service after hearing my story.
I want to emphasize that the issue lies with the couriers, not the delivery points. In most cases, there are no problems with the delivery points.
The events took place in Pskov. I've included the order numbers specifically for SDERU, which seem to think that everything is fabricated: 10073583203, 10082731628.
Let's imagine that you've ordered a treadmill, a refrigerator, a TV, or anything heavy through Yandex Market. In most cases, the seller chooses SDERU as the delivery service.
However, you're not as calm as you think, because you know that SDERU operates until 6 PM. But, in reality, you'll be left waiting for a week.
How does my situation unfold?
Situation 1: A 100x100x100mm corner photo printer, which is quite heavy, long, and inconvenient.
Day 1:
The courier calls at 11:30 AM, saying that they'll deliver within 10 minutes. I refuse, explaining that I'll be home at 2 PM. The courier responds, 'Okay, we'll deliver at 2 PM.' And then, they disappear. At 5 PM, I ask for the courier's phone number from the support team, but the courier intentionally turns off their phone. In the evening, the support team calls me, saying that the courier couldn't deliver the order, and they'll try again the next day. At this point, I was still being reasonable and agreed.
Day 2-4:
No one calls me, but the app still shows that the order has been handed over to the courier. This is where things get really interesting. I can only describe it as a never-ending stream of profanity...
This happened over the weekend, from January 18 to 20.
January 18:
The order is handed over to the courier, and I wait again, with the support team feeding me promises that they'll deliver by 6 PM. No one delivers, and no one calls. The support team promises to 'take the delivery under control.'
January 19:
The app still shows that the order has been handed over to the courier. I think it's pointless to describe it further, as the support team gives me the courier's phone number, and the person on the other end sounds sleepy and says, 'I'm not the one, and it's not my problem. I'm on a day off.'
January 20:
The app still shows that the order has been handed over to the courier until the evening. By the end of the day, the status changes to 'The courier couldn't deliver the order.'
At this point, I'd already yelled at the support team, because I'd been stuck at home for four days, waiting for the courier instead of going for a walk, shopping, or to the gym. This is absolute madness.
Day 5:
The order is handed over to the courier again. Hooray, the order is delivered on time at 3 PM. However, the courier arrives looking unhappy, claiming that I'd disrupted their schedule.
Why do I think I disrupted their schedule? Because, based on the second order, I realized that they don't work after 2 PM, despite their official schedule being until 6 PM. This is specific to Pskov.
Situation 2: A treadmill. Although I swore to never use SDERU again, Yandex Market sellers are forced to use this service.
This is happening right now, with the same situation repeating for the fourth day.
'Order handed over to the courier.'
'Courier couldn't deliver the order.'
'Order handed over to the courier.'
'Courier couldn't deliver the order.'
Today, the support team calls me at 11 AM, offering to deliver the order tomorrow because 'the couriers are already on the road.' The logic is simply terrifying. I, of course, yelled at them, because I don't know how to behave with people who disrespect other people's time.
Conclusion:
1. SDERU deliberately disregards consumer protection laws. Experts can identify which specific article they're violating by not working after 2 PM, despite their official schedule being until 6 PM.
2. The support team is simply a bot that responds with a pre-written text from a notebook.
3. If you want to spend a few days at home, hoping that the courier will arrive, then use SDERU's services!
I'm confident that there are no problems with SDERU in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but in the regions, it's a different story.
Thanks for your attention.
After analyzing SDERU's comments under negative reviews on this website, I can also conclude that they copy a text from a notebook with apologies, change the name *unknown* to your name, and send the comment. Of course, such apologies are worthless.
They also love to say, 'We'll put your package under control,' but, in reality, it means nothing to the couriers.
