Editor's Summary
I was stoked to try Twinings' English Breakfast, but it turned out to be just a standard black tea. Unlike authentic English Breakfast blends, which combine teas from India, Kenya, and Ceylon, this one features a mix of Indian and Ceylonese teas. The packaging looks nice, but the blend itself is pretty unremarkable. I've had better English Breakfast teas from other brands, so I'm a bit disappointed. It's a decent cup of tea, but not worth the hype.

I was really stoked to try Twinings' English Breakfast, but it turned out to be just a pretty standard black tea. Unlike the authentic English Breakfast blend, which combines teas from India, Kenya, and Ceylon, this one features a mix of Indian and Ceylonese teas. I've had Twinings English Breakfast in similar packaging from iHerb and my trips to Finland, and the blend is way more interesting - it's a black tea from Malawi, Kenya, and India, a rare blend of three countries, two of which are African.
Production: It's made in Poland.

Now, let's talk about the packaging. It's got a beautiful design with blue colors and patterns, and the pictures on the packaging show you exactly what you're getting - five different types of tea. Since we're reviewing English Breakfast, the packaging is red, and the tag on the tea bag is a nice touch.
Description:Twinings English Breakfast - a strong, refreshing black tea of the highest quality. A blend of Ceylonese and Indian black teas gives it a typical English tea flavor. My Experience:
The packaging says it's a four-leaf tea out of five, so it's supposed to be a good brew. I use the biggest mug I have and pour in 400ml of boiling water.
BeforeThe result is a strong, dark tea with a medium bitterness or even less. The flavor is nothing special - just a regular tea, like many others.
AfterCompared to the standard English Breakfast blend, even the budget-friendly Ahmad tea is way better in terms of flavor - it's strong, bright, with a subtle bitterness and a refreshing taste, and it costs around 100 rubles for 25 tea bags. I've written a review about it here. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from Twinings, but this tea is just okay.Support me by liking this review if it was helpful!
