Frosty Fresh Revival: MIF Aqua Powder 3in1 Automatic Review

Specifications
I was walking down the street the other day when some dude zoomed past me and a gust of wind hit me. That's when I caught this amazing scent that totally took me back to my childhood. It smelled just like the laundry detergent from Mountain Peaks or Frosty Fresh - that cold, crisp scent of cleanliness that's just so refreshing.
As soon as I smelled it, I thought of the MIF Frosty Fresh ad, but to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of those kinds of detergents. I prefer the ones for kids. But when I checked the packaging in the store, I noticed that the modern MIF is phosphate-free, which is a plus for sensitive skin.
So, I decided to give it a shot and see if I could find that cold, crisp scent of cleanliness. I picked it up at Perekrestok for 250 rubles for 2 kg. Unfortunately, the scent didn't quite live up to my expectations.

Quick verdict, pros, and cons at the end of the review
MIF Aqua Powder Frosty Fresh reviews
The detergent comes in a pretty sturdy package with holes on top, so if you're not too far from the store, you can carry it in your hands. But if your trip is longer than 10 minutes, it's better to put the detergent in a bag, or your fingers will get cut.
When I got home, the air in my room was immediately filled with a strong chemical smell. I left the detergent on the balcony for two weeks, and the scent mellowed out a bit, but it was still pretty strong. Then I transferred it to a container, and it quickly lost its potency.

The 2 kg package is supposed to last for 13 washes, but my experience showed that you can use half the recommended amount and still get great results. The clothes come out clean, and the detergent is easy to rinse out. When I used the full dose, even after double-rinsing, I could still feel the detergent residue in the fabric.
If you're washing a single rug, you only need a small amount, about a tablespoon without the mound. Everything comes out clean, but I always do a double rinse, just in case there's still some detergent left behind.

I was stoked to see that Myth Aqua Powder Frosty Fresh is made in Russia. Here's the ingredient list on the narrow side at the bottom:
5-15% anionic surfactants, less than 5% nonionic surfactants, polycarboxylates, zeolites, enzymes, optical brighteners, and fragrances.

Some useful tidbits from the recommendations table:
don't use Myth Aqua Powder to wash wool or silk
180ml = 150g
I've got pretty hard water, but the first time I used it, I went with the minimum dose of 150g. Now I'm using around 50-70g, and everything comes out clean and rinses better.
Dosing / Myth Aqua Powder Frosty Fresh Laundry Detergent
The powder is made up of small granules, and yeah, there's a noticeable powder residue on the scoop. But it doesn't make a mess when you pour it into the washing machine. It doesn't clump up either, except for a couple of stray bits in the original packaging. The container itself has good flow.

I initially used a plastic cup to measure the dose. Here's what the minimum dose of 150g looks like. To be honest, I think it's a bit too much, so I've been able to reduce it without any issues. I've got pretty mild stains on my clothes - just everyday dirt and grime, plus a bit of deodorant. Everything comes out clean, and I've been able to get away with using smaller doses.
Recently, I spilled some grease on my clothes while cooking, and I just threw them in the wash. Everything came out spotless, so don't be afraid to cut back on the amount of detergent you use.

I’m really impressed with how well this powder dissolves in cold water. I’ve never had any issues with crystals left behind in the container. One thing to watch out for is that the powder can leave a residue on your skin, so I recommend using rubber gloves when washing and rinsing.

I was blown away by how white my laundry got after the first wash. It was like a whole new level of cleanliness! However, I did notice that the powder leaves a residue on the fabric, even after double-rinsing and using a small dose. But, my kid’s clothes seem to handle it just fine.

I have to say, the scent is a bit of a letdown. After the first wash, I hung up my laundry and left the house for a bit. When I came back, I could smell a warm, green tea-like aroma. I thought maybe my neighbors were messing with some new incense or something, but then I realized it was my laundry!

The scent is pleasant, but it’s not what I was expecting - a cool, frosty freshness. So, Myth Frosty Freshness is a miss for me.

One more thing to note is that the scent is really strong when the laundry is still damp. But, once it dries, the smell pretty much disappears. I’ve even stored my laundry in the same closet as my perfumes, and there’s no conflict.

And, I have to say, that’s a testament to the fact that my friend was using a different product. Because, when I used it, I could smell the scent all the way outside!

"}I was hit with a strong scent as soon as I opened the package – it's a good thing I transferred it to a container ASAP!There's this weird feeling that the powder isn't fully rinsing off, but my skin is totally fine.I don't get the 'Frosty Freshness' vibe at all – it smells more like a warm green tea to me.The scent is super strong and lingers in the whole room while my laundry is drying.Rating: 4
All in all, Mif Aqua Pudra's Frosty Freshness is a decent laundry powder, but it's not what I'm looking for in a cold scent – it feels warm and tea-like to me, not frosty at all.
I also get this weird residue feeling on the fabric even after a double rinse, but my sensitive skin didn't react, so it's probably just a leftover from the kids' powder.
Next up, I'll be switching back to Mepsi's natural soap-based powder, and I'll be trying out those 'frosty and mountain' powders in small packs.
