I'm still trying to process the disaster that was my son's 6th birthday party, courtesy of Showbanana.ru. I thought it'd be a fun day with Spiderman, but what I got was a bunch of broken promises and a whole lot of disappointment. The agency's website made it seem legit, but trust me, it's not worth the risk. If you're looking for a stress-free party experience, keep looking. Showbanana.ru is not the way to go. I'm talking about a party that was supposed to be a highlight of the year, but ended up being a total letdown.

What I GotMy son turned 6 on February 20th, 2022 - a great age for an animator, I thought.
Aqua-GrimeThe kids loved the Spiderman character, so we decided to book him!

The website looked good, with great reviews, and I wasn't even put off that they didn't have any social media presence. But I did notice they had a similar website for a Moscow-based company.
We booked the 1-hour Spiderman show and a 30-minute paper disco.
For me, the big question was the Spiderman costume - they sent me a photo, and I was happy with it!
So, the big day arrived: the Spiderman character shows up on the train (we had to give him a lift to the venue), gets changed, and I see the costume - it was a total disaster (torn and hairy arms, etc.).
There was a Wi-Fi issue at the restaurant, and the Spiderman didn't have a mobile signal, so I had to play the music on my phone. The props for the games were old and dirty.
The Spiderman's service included a simple aqua-grime, after which he drew a star on my son's face. The other kids refused to participate, though (see photo).
And then there was the paper disco - for 8000 rubles, the kids had to dig out the dirty, used paper from the Spiderman's bag themselves!
I did pay, of course, since the kids and their parents were there, and I didn't want to cause a scene. My husband gets pretty worked up, and I didn't want to provoke him.
So, dear parents, be careful! I did contact them and write to them, but on the phone, they just fed me the runaround, and on WhatsApp, they pretended not to see my messages.
I'm not even going to sugarcoat it - it was a complete waste of money!
Be vigilant, and don't ruin your kid's birthday!
