Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World Review

Our recent visit to Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World was a mixed bag for us. We had initially planned to visit the aquarium as part of our group tour, but we were a bit hesitant due to its massive size and the thought of navigating it on our own.

However, after reading about the aquarium's impressive size and the variety of marine life it houses, we decided to give it a try. And we're glad we did!

Located in the Siam Paragon shopping mall, the aquarium is easily accessible by public transportation or on foot. We arrived at the mall via a tourist bus, but we're not sure how to get there by other means.

The shopping mall itself is quite impressive, with a unique design that's worth checking out. The area around the mall is also lively and bustling with activity, making it easy to find your way around.

As for the aquarium, we were impressed by its modern and comfortable layout. The exterior lighting is dim, which is necessary to prevent camera flash from disturbing the marine life. Inside, the aquarium is divided into different sections, each with its own unique theme and exhibits.

One of the highlights of our visit was the large tank that runs along the length of the aquarium. It's home to a stunning array of marine life, including fish, sharks, and even a few playful dolphins. We spent a good amount of time watching the fish swim by and taking in the sights and sounds of the aquarium.

Another highlight was the variety of marine life on display. We saw everything from colorful fish and coral to sharks and rays. The aquarium also has a few interactive exhibits, including a touch pool where visitors can get up close and personal with some of the marine animals.

One of the things that really stood out to us was the sheer size of the aquarium. At 10,000 square meters, it's one of the largest in the world. And with over 5 million liters of water, it's home to over 30,000 marine animals from around the world.

For comparison, the St. Petersburg Aquarium is only 5,000 square meters in size, making Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World a whopping 2 times larger. We were impressed by the aquarium's ability to house such a large collection of marine life in a single location.

Overall, we would recommend Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World to anyone who loves marine life or is looking for a unique and educational experience. However, if you're only in Bangkok for a short time, you may want to prioritize other attractions.

As for us, we're glad we visited the aquarium, but we wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others. It's a great place to visit if you have the time and are interested in marine life, but there are other attractions in Bangkok that are more worth your while.
