Today, I'm continuing with the Maskoholic brand. This time, I'm trying out their toner, Tonik Maskoholic, which is a cleanser and contains sebum regulation.

I've been using this toner after cleansing my face to give it a refreshing and natural glow. The product helps prevent a tight feeling on my skin and prepares it for the next steps (cleansing, moisturizing). It prevents oily skin, balances the skin tone, and has a soothing effect. When I continue using it, it reduces redness and imperfections on my skin. The product provides the best results in facial cleansing with its active ingredients. Sodium citrate cleans pores, normalizes sebum, and balances the tone. The extract of ecliptus gives my skin a refreshing and relaxing feeling, and has a soothing effect. Niacinamide (B vitamin) balances the skin tone and strengthens the protective barrier. This is especially important for the main function of the facial cleansing lotion.

Product Packaging

The product comes in a plastic bottle. The bottle is very sturdy and doesn't leak when you use it. The packaging is quite nice, simple, and minimalist. The packaging is a plastic bottle with a pink label, which is a nice and feminine design.

It's very easy to handle, and all the information is clearly displayed on the label.

The cap opens easily, and then closes tightly.

There's a standard-sized dosage hole.

Organoleptics

The product is very liquid, almost like water. It foams up a bit after shaking, which I didn't like. It's colorless and has a closed tone.

The aroma, however, is amazing. It smells like perfume.

Ingredients

The ingredients include water, betaine, glycerin, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, aesculus hippocastanum fruit extract, babassu oil glycerate-8, sorbitol, phenoxyethanol, glyceryl laurate, PCA, niacinamide, allantoin, beta-glucan, propanediol, eclipta prostrata extract, sodium gluconate, dichlorobenzyl alcohol, and fragrance.

Usage

I apply it to my face with a gentle massaging motion, avoiding the eye area. It's recommended to use it twice a day (morning and night).

I apply it to my face, neck, and décolletage after cleansing. My goal is to add an extra step to my skincare routine and prepare my skin for the next products.

My Thoughts

For me, a toner should prevent my skin from drying out and tightening. It should also prepare my skin for the next steps in my skincare routine. Unfortunately, Maskoholic toner doesn't meet my expectations. When I use it, I get a sticky feeling on my skin, which is very uncomfortable. My skin feels a bit greasy, and it's like the product is sticking to my skin. This is very annoying.

However, when I apply it to my skin, it feels very soft and smooth. It even helps to moisturize my skin a bit. But this isn't enough to convince me to continue using it.

I have to wash my face thoroughly after using this toner to get rid of the sticky feeling.

In summary, I don't think Maskoholic toner is a useful product. It leaves a sticky feeling on my skin, which is very uncomfortable. My skin feels soft and smooth when I apply it, but this isn't enough to convince me to continue using it.
