Browsing through a fragrance collection, the first thing that catches my eye is the elegance of the bottles, but Elizabeth Arden's Rusalka collection is much more intriguing. Considering how easily and conveniently different fragrances can be mixed, Rusalka could be a great choice. In fact, I've previously opted for a less lemony fragrance from the same brand, but I ultimately chose Rusalka. I purchased it for 2276 rubles at Le Temps Des Cerises.
Rusalka begins with a vibrant world of green flowers and fruits. Initially, I notice citrus notes of orange and mandarin, followed by a subtle touch of cardamom and spices. As the fragrance unfolds, it becomes even more romantic and refined, thanks to the addition of floral and herbal notes. Finally, a fresh and new plant note, lemongrass, brings the scent to a perfect finish.
The packaging of the product is also quite special. Inside the bottle, there's a Rusalka figurine, which is a lovely touch. They've even provided instructions on how to use the fragrance, which is a thoughtful detail.
The product size is 30 ml, but carrying such an expensive product can be a bit challenging. However, it would look great attached to a keychain or a purse.
Rusalka is available in various sizes, including 5, 30, 50, and 75 ml. To me, the fragrance seems more lemony than I expected, but it's a beautiful scent nonetheless. I can detect a hint of powder and sweetness, and even a slightly warmer note.
