Editor's Summary

I've been using Travelata for years, but my latest experience with them has left a bad taste in my mouth. I booked a trip to Cuba using their payment plans, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. We were maxing out at $300, and we barely scraped it together. The whole experience has left me feeling frustrated and confused.

I'm still trying to process my experience with Travelata. It's been a wild ride, to say the least.

DISCLAIMER:

I've been using Travelata for years now. I've booked countless trips with them, and they've always been reliable. Or so I thought. Recently, I decided to take out a loan to book a trip to Cuba, and that's when things started to go downhill.

I love traveling, and I've been to some amazing places with my family. But this experience with Travelata has left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if I'll be using their payment plans again anytime soon.

Our budget was maxing out at $300. We managed it, but it was a close call. Was it worth it? I'm still unsure. The whole experience has left me feeling frustrated and confused.

We had to register using our phone numbers. We applied using my husband's number, but all the codes were wrong. I created a profile using my number, and the first code worked. But the order was still 'in progress.' I had three more of these, but I lost the list.

Their telegram support team responds immediately and adequately - that's the only reason I'm giving them stars.

I still remember why I opted out (everything). The first (maximum) amount was 12 thousand something with insurance. Which one is it - 52k or 40k? I really need to make a video to show them later.

No one has acknowledged the mistake - they've added almost 100k to my additional services, but they've done it smoothly.

I complained to them every day, and they finally resolved the issue.

Now everything is fine. If there are any issues with the promised preferential repayment, I'll definitely follow up.

And when I confirmed my application, I got a bunch of SMS:

My phone was ringing non-stop from 8 am, but Алиса was blocking it. What a disgusting company.

There are still some problems...

So who do I pay?

They even change the names and details on the receipts.

Imagine being able to transfer money to the wrong place! And then getting a huge fine afterwards!

To be honest, everything is very murky and not transparent, yet many large companies cooperate with them.

Suddenly, we were given a payment plan for April 9th, but a week later:

I think that cooperating with this company is a huge black stain on the reputation of large companies.

Thanks, TRAVELATA

Z.Y.

For my own peace of mind, I paid off the credit through SBER-online, transferring the money to a 'zero-balance' card. With a commission.

The overpayment is already there. And this is a deception by 'travelata', I think.

It's good that there's an 'Elexnet' without commission, and it's close to my home, but let's see… Z.Y.

They've removed their terminals from us, although they're still shown on the map! But the reviews on them are so bad that I'm even scared to use them.

I noticed some people were having issues with calculating the remaining balance, so I highly recommend reaching out to their support through TELEGRAM.

One more thing... we were able to close the 'installment plan' without any extra payments.

Usually, money transfers through СБЕР are pretty quick, but these 174613 rubles took an awfully long time to arrive, like PAYLATE was dragging its feet to let the interest-free period expire.

So, I'm definitely not recommending this company.

And, as per my request, they even sent me a confirmation of no outstanding debt in TELEGRAM, since it wasn't showing up on their website. All good, Dobbi is free, and I wish you the same.

Naturally, we took a break, and thanks to PAYLATE for that. However, their system is a bit of a mess, so I had to contact their support at least twice a week.

And, as per the reviews here, I reached out just a day before the interest-free period expired.

Hopefully, my review will be helpful to someone else.
