The Gift of Life: How I Saved My Cat with Stomorgil

Remember two weeks ago my cat got sick suddenly. We didn't know what was wrong with him, so we went to the vet, but all the vets told us he was fine and didn't see anything unusual. My cat is a bit peculiar, he loves it when you suck on his cheeks, but one day in the evening he started growling when I touched his lower jaw. I thought something was off, so we took our friend to the vet for a week. What a horror!

By the time we got there, his lower jaw had swollen. And then they gave us the prescription!

-Brush his teeth and gums with two solutions alternating.

-Ketoprofeno once a day for 5 days. The Ketoprofeno was given to us by the vet in syringes as an analgesic.

♥ CompositionSpiramycin – an antibiotic of the macrolide class, with bacteriostatic properties against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria and micoplasmas. Metronidazol is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria (especially Bacteroides and Fusobacterium).

♥ Price

I got four and a half tablets for free, but in reality, this medicine is very expensive. Ten tablets cost around a thousand rubles.

♥ Appearance:

The tablets are quite large and have a bright pink color with a white stripe on one side. After trying them, I discovered that the tablets are white and the pink part is just the outer layer.

♥ Smell:Yes, yes, do you think the tablets don't have a smell? They have a very strong smell! It gave me asphyxia when the smell of the medicine reached my nose, it smelled like rotten fish or something metallic.

♥ Application:

First, look at your cat's teeth. Mine are very worn down, but when I looked at them before, they seemed the same size. Now, however, I can see that one of the front teeth is more worn down than the other and the lower jaw is swollen.

It's time to give the first dose. I used to add ketoprofeno to my cat's food using a syringe, and everything was fine, so I decided to try giving him a whole pill. I put half a pill of Stomorgil in a spoonful of water and added it to a syringe. I gave the dose and there are no words to describe it! My cat started producing a lot of foam in his mouth as if he was having a seizure. Everything started to bubble in my cat's mouth and I was very scared. I ran with him in my arms to the bathtub to wash his mouth. Luckily, everything turned out well and we only spent a moment being terrified.I called my vet and it turned out that you can't split the Stomorgil pill, but you have to give the whole pill. And then it started...

The truth is that I had never given my cat whole pills before. I started investigating. I didn't find much information, but I did find a post on how to give a pill to your cat in a fun way. (I recommend searching for it to lift your spirits)

Since my cat is big, I did the following.

I put him on his back on the sofa between my legs, hold him with my legs on both sides. Note that your legs may look like a battlefield at the end.

Then, I lift the corners of his mouth and open it, without touching the palate, because otherwise it can cause a vomiting reflex in your cat. Our goal is to put the pill in the deepest part of the palate and avoid him spitting it out of his mouth. Before this, we should have a glass of water or a little oil ready.

Once you have him lying down, you can pet and calm him, then you should moisten the pill with water or oil to avoid it sticking to his throat.

What cost me a world was doing it with my cat. After putting the pill at the root of his tongue, you should close his mouth immediately while he doesn't spit it out with his tongue. When he swallows it, then you can let him go. My cat rolled over, whined and screamed with inhuman cries, but trust me, it's better to endure. It cost me a lot, I saw how he was scared and afraid, and sometimes even cried.

If your cat has swallowed the pill, he will start licking himself.

It didn't always go well for me. Once the pill got stuck to the roof of his mouth, and he had a nervous breakdown. Another time I launched it a bit off-center, and in the end, the pill was next to his teeth, he broke it, started salivating, and my cat started crying. It's hard to see, but I understood that there was no other option.

The effect far exceeded my expectations!

After two days of use, my cat started eating normally, although he only ate wet food. After three days, he relaxed and started bothering his floor mate. And after nine days, he became a happy and playful cat again, ate everything they gave him and ate voraciously. He also started sleeping well, before he had problems sleeping and only dozed off.The bad smell from his mouth disappeared. Now he doesn't have a bad smell, before he had a very strong smell.

♥ Result:

I highly recommend Stomorgil if you have problems with your teeth or gums. However, before using it, consult with your vet. I lost points because it seems very bitter. Well, that affects a lot, since I think we also have to think about the animals, who already have enough problems with their health.
