My Experience with SDERU
I'm preparing a comprehensive video expose on SDERU on YouTube, which will cover all cases, including mine. Hopefully, many people will stop using this deliberately unreliable courier service after hearing my story.
I want to emphasize that the issue lies with the couriers, not the pickup points. In most cases, there are no problems with the pickup points.
The events described below took place in Pskov. I've included the order numbers specifically for SDERU, which seem to think that everything is fabricated: 10073583203, 10082731628.
Let's imagine that you've ordered a treadmill, a refrigerator, a TV, or anything else heavy through Yandex Market. In most cases, the seller chooses SDERU for delivery.
However, you're not as calm as you think, knowing that SDERU operates until 6 PM. Unfortunately, you'll be left waiting for a week.
My situation is as follows:
Situation #1I ordered a 100x100x100mm, heavy, long, and inconveniently shaped corner photo printer.
Day 1:
The courier called me at 11:30 AM, saying they'd deliver it within 10 minutes. I refused, explaining that I'd be home only after 2 PM. The courier replied, 'Okay, we'll deliver it at 2 PM.' However, they disappeared. At 5 PM, I asked the customer support for the courier's phone number, but they intentionally turned it off. Later that evening, the support team called me, saying the courier couldn't deliver the order, and they'd try again the next day. I was still calm and agreed.
Day 2-4:
I received no calls, but the app showed that the order had been handed over to the courier. This is where things get interesting. I can only describe it as a never-ending stream of profanity...
This happened over the weekend, from January 18 to 20.
January 18:
The order was handed over to the courier, and I waited, with the support team feeding me breakfast, saying they'd deliver it by 6 PM. No one delivered it, and no one called. The support team promised to 'take control of the delivery.'
January 19:
The app still showed 'order handed over to the courier.' I thought it was pointless to describe it further, as the support team would just give me a scripted response. They provided me with the courier's phone number, but the person who answered was sleepy and said, 'I'm not the one, and it's not my problem. I'm on a day off.'
January 20:
The app still showed 'order handed over to the courier' until the evening. At that point, the status changed to 'courier failed to deliver the order.'
I was furious, as I'd been waiting for four days, unable to go to the park, shop, or the gym. It was hell.
Day 5:
The order was handed over to the courier again. Miraculously, the order was delivered at the specified time. A disgruntled courier arrived at 3 PM, complaining that I'd disrupted their schedule.
I think I disrupted their schedule because, based on the second order, I realized that they don't work after 2 PM, despite their official schedule until 6 PM.
Here's the proof of my words:
Situation #2I ordered a treadmill. Although I swore never to use SDERU again, Yandex Market sellers are forced to use this service.
This is happening right now, with the same situation repeating for the fourth day.
'Order handed over to the courier'
'Courier failed to deliver the order'
'Order handed over to the courier'
'Courier failed to deliver the order'
The support team called me at 11 AM, offering to deliver the order the next day, saying the couriers are already on the road. I lost my temper, as I couldn't understand how they could disrespect my time like this.
Conclusion:
1. SDERU deliberately violates consumer protection laws by not working after 2 PM, despite their official schedule until 6 PM.
2. The support team is just a bot, responding with a scripted message.
3. If you want to spend a few days at home, waiting for a courier that might never arrive, use SDERU!
I'm convinced that there are no problems with SDERU in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but in the regions, it's a nightmare.
Thank you for your attention.
After analyzing SDERU's comments under negative reviews on this website, I can conclude that they copy-paste an apology text, change the name from 'unknown' to your name, and hit send. Such apologies are worthless.
They also love to say, 'We'll put your package under control,' but in reality, it means nothing to the couriers.
