Our Experience with Probalance Sterilized

Unfortunately, when ordering liquid cat food on the Ozon marketplace, I found out that it was out of stock. Our remaining supply was running low, so I had to choose something else quickly.

I discovered the Probalance Sterilized cat food in packets, which had good reviews and a reasonable price.

I didn't have much time to think, so I ordered it.

After receiving the packets, I started studying the composition.

The information on the back is written in very small print, with a lot of details that are hard to read without a magnifying glass.

I checked the product page on Ozon to find the composition there.

The composition includes:

Chicken meal, meat and meat by-products, fish and fish by-products, plant-based proteins (wheat, peas), prebiotic, Fitocare for Cats herbal composition, animal-derived proteins, vitamin and mineral supplement for cats, taurine.

My Concerns: The lack of information on the percentage of meat content in the composition.

When looking at the composition of our previous cat food, we could see:

Meat and meat ingredients – 37% (including fresh chicken meat and fresh beef)

My Question: How can I know how much meat my cats will get from this food?

Positive Aspects

I'm glad to see that the composition includes peas, which are a great source of carbohydrates for cats.

Cats, like humans, need carbohydrates, and peas are highly digestible.

Other than that, the composition seems clear, with vitamins, taurine, and other essential nutrients.

However, the lack of information on the percentage of fat content in the composition is a major drawback.

Our Cats' Reaction

Our cats didn't like the food at all.

Even our younger cat, who eats everything, didn't finish her meal.

We didn't want to force them to eat, so we ordered our usual cat food again when it became available on Ozon.

Conclusion

While Probalance Sterilized may be a good food for some cats, it's not suitable for ours.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this food to other cat owners.
