Abu Dhabi and Dubai Tour Nightmare

We visited Abu Dhabi from August 1st to 12th, 2024, and had a disastrous experience with this tour company.

Day 1: Arrival and Initial Issues

Upon arrival, we were not contacted by the tour representative, and we had to reach out to them to arrange a meeting. The meeting was scheduled for the next day.

Day 2: Excursion to Abu Dhabi

We were promised two excursions: one to Abu Dhabi and another to Dubai. We paid $350 for the two of us and were told to wait for 6th and 9th August to go on the excursions. However, on August 5th at 9 PM, we were informed that the excursion to Abu Dhabi was being postponed to August 11th due to technical issues.

Day 3: Excursion to Dubai

The excursion to Dubai was a disaster. We were left alone in the bus for 1.5 hours without a guide, and the program was poorly organized.

Program Highlights:Visit the museum (not the actual museum, but the area outside) for photos.Take a 52-story elevator ride to see the view (175 dirhams per person, which is the actual ticket price).Visit the local covered market (free entry).Take a 30-minute boat ride and have lunch.Visit the Dubai Mall and see the fountains (free entry) and shop for 3 hours (no access to the Burj Khalifa).

Day 4: Excursion to Abu Dhabi

We were taken to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, but there was no guided tour. We were left to explore the museum on our own for an hour. We were then taken to the date market, where we had 15 minutes to shop. We had lunch at the hotel for 40 minutes, and then visited the presidential palace, where we had an hour to explore. We were then taken to the mosque, where we had an hour to explore.

Conclusion

The excursion was a waste of money. We were taken to the main tourist spots in Abu Dhabi without any information or guidance. The tour company's representative was unorganized and only interested in collecting money from us.
