Editor's SummaryTallinn, Estonia, is a beautiful city with a rich history and cultural heritage. However, the locals' attitude towards Russians is a significant drawback, making it a less desirable destination for fellow Russians.
Pros & Cons✅ Stunning medieval architecture and picturesque surroundings✅ Delicious food and drink options✅ Rich history and cultural heritage✅ Easy access by car or public transportation✅ Scenic route from Narva to Tallinn❌ Unfriendly locals towards Russians❌ Disappointing experience at Apple Apartments❌ Some attractions may be overpriced❌ Limited English spoken by locals❌ Some areas of the city can be quite crowdedIntroductionAs a travel enthusiast, I've had the pleasure of exploring various destinations. Estonia, with its stunning beauty and charming atmosphere, was one place I was eager to visit. However, my experience was marred by the locals' attitude towards Russians, which left a sour taste in my mouth.
Getting ThereLocated in the heart of the Baltic region, Estonia is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The border crossing was smooth, and the scenic route from Narva to Tallinn was a treat. The city's medieval architecture and picturesque surroundings made it a delight to explore.
AccommodationI stayed in a cozy apartment near the city center, which was perfect for a weekend getaway. The owner was friendly and accommodating, showing us around the neighborhood. However, our experience at the Apple Apartments was disappointing, with the staff being unfriendly and unhelpful.
Food and DrinkTallinn has a vibrant food scene, with plenty of options to suit every taste and budget. We fell in love with the 'Three Dragons' tavern, which served delicious food and drinks in a cozy, medieval-themed setting. The Lido cafe was another favorite, offering a wide range of dishes at affordable prices.
AttractionsTallinn's Old Town is a must-visit, with its cobblestone streets and charming atmosphere. We also visited the Estonian Maritime Museum, which was a highlight of our trip. The museum's exhibits and interactive displays made it an engaging and educational experience.

However, the locals' attitude towards Russians is a significant drawback. While the city has plenty to offer, I wouldn't recommend it to fellow Russians due to the unfriendly treatment we received.
