- The storyline is a total letdown, with way too many plot holes.
- The characters feel like cardboard cutouts, with no real depth or development.
- The pacing is slow and plodding, making it hard to stay engaged.
- The movie relies too heavily on cheap jokes and slapstick humor.
- The themes that were so well-handled in the first movie are glossed over here.

Editor's Summary
I'm not gonna lie, I was really looking forward to Zootopia 2, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The first movie was a game changer, and I loved the animation and humor. But this sequel just didn't have the same magic. Here's the deal, if you're a fan of the original, you might be a little disappointed.
Specifications
Hello everyoneI'm talking about Zootopia 2 today.
So, I gotta say, the first movie didn't exactly blow me away. I remember watching it with my sister in a theater in St. Pete.
The animation was top-notch, but the movie felt pretty mature... and dark, and scary, like a horror movie, but it tackled some heavy themes.
I think I reviewed it, but I didn't finish it.
I was definitely looking forward to the second part, because I wanted to see something good, and I haven't watched cartoons in ages... especially not from Disney or Dreamworks.
The animation in the movie is definitely top-notch, that's a huge undertaking, but 10 years for the sequel?
And they even set up a continuation... I'll be old by the time it comes out.
The beginning didn't really do it for me... I don't even remember how the first part ended.
It felt like the story was just phoned in.
But no, they managed to surprise me, the ending was amazing.
I was both on the edge of my seat and felt all the feels.
I love how they showed different seasons here, you've got your hot summer and your winter vibes
The snake character is really cool, I'm not sure if the snake was in the first part, but for some reason it felt super familiar
Overall, the characters are interesting and pretty well-written into the story I saw a lot of old stuff flash by
I have to admit, I was completely uninterested in the first part, it just seemed like the story was going nowhere
Of course, I did notice the cool animation, the humor was on point, and the translation was pretty good, although sometimes it felt like the characters were speaking in a different tone
But what was missing was some soul, some intrigue, some interest...
I'm still not sure about the relationship between the rabbit and the fox, they're shown like they're in a romantic relationship, calling each other 'dear' and going to family therapy
But in the end, they can't even say the 'L' word and they're basically just colleagues...It's all pretty confusing
But if it wasn't for that epic ending where everyone fights to the death for each other and against evil I loved how the accents were highlighted with music, slow-motion, it's really intense and it makes your heart stop
I mean, the real magic happened at the end, and that's what made the whole thing special. But to be honest, the first half was pretty meh – I just didn't get why the snake was even in it. But then they came up with this awesome twist that snakes aren't always bad guys. The ending was definitely a game-changer, but overall, I still think the first half was way stronger. I mean, at least here they managed to come up with a decent plot, unlike that other movie I'm not even going to mention. Even though the animation and humor were top-notch, and the ending was amazing, there was something that felt off at first. It was like watching a couple who'd been together for decades trying to solve a mystery. And honestly, it felt like they just phoned it in and it didn't make any sense. But the ending saved it. I'd definitely recommend it
