Hello everyone, I'm super excited to share my review of my go-to online cosmetics and perfumery store - Zolotoe Yabloko. I've been a fan for a while now, and I'm here to give you the lowdown on why I love it.
I discovered this amazing store a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure I saw it on a blogger's page. Since there's no physical store in my city, I hadn't heard of it before. But, I was lucky enough to stumble upon some great promo codes for new customers, and I managed to stock up on cosmetics really successfully.
When I got my package, I was blown away by how carefully and beautifully everything was packed - after that, I definitely wanted to come back to this store. All packages come in these lovely lime-colored cardboard boxes, and inside, all the products are wrapped in this cute craft paper. It's always a treat to open a package like that and get those extra nice feelings.
Okay, let's get to the good stuff.
One of the main pros of this online store is that all the products always arrive in great condition. No need to worry, like you do when ordering from marketplaces like Ozon or WB. There, to be honest, it's sometimes scary to even order cosmetics.
Another pro is that they sell many brands that are hard to find elsewhere. For instance, Zielinski&Rozen was only available at Zolotoe Yabloko until recently.
And, let's not forget about the insane selection of products. You can find everything from cosmetics and perfumes to household chemicals, accessories, supplements, clothing, tech, office supplies, and more.
I've gotta say, this store has an amazing selection of products. You can find everything from cosmetics and perfumes to household chemicals, accessories, supplements, clothing, tech, office supplies, and more.
APP
I'm not exaggerating when I say this is one of the most user-friendly apps I've ever used. The interface is super intuitive, and you can easily find what you're looking for and get all the info you need in no time.
I won't go into too much detail about each section, but trust me, it's all super simple and convenient.
Shipping
I get all my packages delivered to the Yandex Market pickup point near my place, which is super convenient for me. You also have the option to have it delivered by courier, Russian Post, or to a Perekrestok store.
Shipping is free if your order totals 1500 rubles or more. It usually takes 4-5 days to get to my city, and the app always gives you a buffer for the delivery date, but in reality, the package always arrives earlier.
I've never had any issues with shipping from this store. Everything always arrives intact and carefully packed. The only time there was a problem was when I got a dryer sheet with the cap not fully screwed on, but it was just a tiny bit of liquid and it didn't even have time to seep into the box.
Loyalty Program
The loyalty program got a recent update, now there are several different levels of perks depending on your total purchases over the last year. My current level is beauty enthusiast.
Bonuses
Now this is where it gets interesting. In the past, getting bonuses in Golden Apple was a challenge, they were mostly awarded for purchases and in very small amounts.
But now there are plenty of ways to get bonuses, which I'll explain below.
1. Birthday bonuses.
They're awarded 7 days before your birthday and last for 14 days. On my current level of 'beauty enthusiast', I get 700 bonus points.
On the starting level of 'beauty seeker', it's 500 bonus points.
2. Beauty Wheel.
The app now calls this section 'Lemon Wheel'.
Every day you get one free spin + bonus points for visiting the wheel each day, but I'll get into those details later.
I've been lucky enough to get some awesome bonuses and bitis out of the wheel. It's mostly promo codes, but I've gotten a few hundred bonus points a couple of times.
3. Exchanging bitis for bonus points at the kiosk.
Bitis are a new type of bonus that you can earn for making purchases and get daily in the wheel. It's like a currency you can use to redeem branded stuff at the kiosk, like keychains, makeup cases, and more. Or, you can exchange them for bonus points, which is what I usually do – it's more valuable to me than spending them on knick-knacks.
4. Beauty Tamagotchi.
A few years ago, the Golden Apples app got its own Tamagotchi game where you have your own Elf that you need to level up by buying clothes, furniture, and other stuff. There are also mini-games inside where you can earn beauty coins.
I'll admit, when I first started playing, I thought this game was a waste of time because the bonuses were super hard to get. I basically gave up on it. But then, in December, I stumbled back into it and was pleasantly surprised by how much things had changed.
Now, it's ridiculously easy to get bonuses for just about anything you do. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to screenshot my Elf's progress because the season was already over.
I'll try to give you the lowdown on the main ways to get bonuses in the game.
⭐️ Bonuses for leveling up.
For reaching levels 5, 10, 15, and so on, you get 100 bonuses each. Getting to level 20 is a breeze – you can do it in just a few days. After that, it gets a lot tougher.
⭐️ Achievements.
There's a new section on the task tab where you can earn achievements and rewards for various accomplishments. Each achievement has three levels, and for the first two, you get rare in-game boxes. For the third level, you get 300 bonuses.
I was able to reach the 3rd level achievement 'Connoisseur' relatively quickly, which involves buying items from the Elf shop and 'Shopping Spree' which is buying clothes and home decor items.

5-Star Bonus Boxes.
It's like a lottery system - when you open these bonus boxes, you can get energy, beauty coins, gifts, level points, shopping promo codes, and the best part - bonuses. They don't drop as often, but way more frequently than the regular lottery. I even got lucky a few times and got 300 bonuses in a row, which was amazing.

You can get these bonus boxes by completing level 1 and 2 achievements, reaching certain in-game levels, or buy them with gifts - another in-game currency. Gifts can be earned by completing weekly challenges in the 'Challenges' section and participating in beauty tests within the game.
In short, you can accumulate a substantial amount of bonuses and stock up on goodies. And if you play from multiple accounts, it gets even more beneficial.

I started playing around mid-December and by the end of January, I managed to accumulate:
✅ 3564 bonuses
✅ 2000 bonuses
✅ 1726 bonuses
✅ 1410 bonuses
✅ 1025 bonuses
I could've gotten even more if I'd started playing at the beginning of the season and bought all the items for all my accounts)
But even so, I'm super happy with my haul – I stocked up on cosmetics for the year and got to try out products I'd been eyeing but was hesitant to splurge on.
WHAT I BOUGHT
Now, let me show you what I picked up. Not everything, but most of it.
From the ones I'd already tried and loved, I grabbed:
▪️Black Pepper and Musk Liquid Soap
▪️My go-to mascara from L’oreal
▪️Erborian's BB cream
▪️Geltex's toner with acids
▪️Herbal Essences' hair balm
▪️Cocochoco's volumizing shampoo
▪️Bioderma's Sebium Hydra moisturizing cream
▪️Natrol's Vitamin D3 5000 IU
▪️Librederm's hyaluronic acid gel
And then there are all the new products I'm trying out:
▪️Boldcare's serum from Holy Land
▪️Nesti Dante's thermal source soap
▪️Smart Nail Polish's nail strengthener
▪️D’alba's famous serum spray
▪️D’alba's eye patches
▪️Geltex's Alphaderm Gelteck updating fluid
▪️Geltex's Demoten Forte gel
▪️Uriage's Hyseac 3-Regul+ face cream
▪️Uriage's shower oil
▪️Erborian's two-phase lotion
▪️Caudalie's cleansing mask
But the highlight of my visit to the kiosk was definitely the sponges for makeup. They're a steal at only 100 bunits, and they're super tiny and super soft. I loved them.
And take a look at these prices:
I've gotta say, some of these products were almost free thanks to the bonuses. Huge shoutout to whoever came up with that idea - it's a game-changer. For me, it's been a great way to mix things up and try new products without breaking the bank.
THE VERDICT
So, in the end, I'm super happy with the app and the online store as a whole. Their concept and workflow are top-notch. The Golden Apple has always stood out from the competition, and after they revamped their loyalty program and added all these bonus opportunities, it's become my go-to choice and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
And if you're new to Tamagotchi, you should totally check it out - a new season is starting soon!
Thanks for making it through my review!
