My Zillii Wet Food Review: A Disappointing Experience

I'm always on the lookout for great deals on pet food, and that's how I stumbled upon Zillii's highly-recommended wet food. It's supposed to be a premium, meaty option that's perfect for cats with sensitive stomachs.

One of our older cats has been dealing with kidney stones, and our vet recommended switching her to a Urinary diet - specifically designed for this condition. The thing is, Urinary formulas are only available in dry food, but Zillii claims to offer a solution with their wet food.

So, I decided to give it a shot and bought a 12-pack for around 900 rubles on Ozon. That works out to about 85 rubles per pack, or 85 grams of food. It's not a bad price, especially considering the quality I was expecting.

At first, our cat devoured the entire pack in one sitting. I was impressed by how quickly she finished it off. But after a few packs, she started leaving some of the meat bits behind, only licking up the gravy. And now, on the 10th pack, she's only eating the gravy and ignoring the meat altogether. Luckily, we have other cats who are happy to finish it off for her.

The gravy, for one, isn't very appetizing. It's just a thin layer of liquid that doesn't seem to be doing much for our cat's appetite. The meat bits are basically just spongy things soaked in gravy, which doesn't exactly sound appealing.

So, what's going on with this food? Unfortunately, after reading some reviews (after the fact, of course), I've decided that I won't be buying it for our cats again. And to make matters worse, our older cat's kidney stones flared up while she was on this diet.

I did come across a review where the author tried the food themselves, but I'm not brave (or crazy) enough to do that. I'm not sure what's in this food, but I'm not willing to risk my own health to find out.

Our other cat, on the other hand, loves this cheaper alternative and finishes every last bit, even though it's three times cheaper than Zillii! I'm not sure what the secret ingredient is, but it's definitely working for her.

After trying Zillii's wet food, I'm left feeling disappointed. The quality just isn't there, and the price isn't worth it. There are better options out there that are more affordable and healthier for your pets.
