Editor's Summary

I'm a sucker for farm-type games, and Yozhik's adorable characters had me hooked from the start. However, the game's energy system is a major letdown. With only 100 units to refill every hour or so, you'll find yourself stuck mid-till more often than not. Still, the game's engaging storyline and colorful design make it worth checking out.

I'm like many others, I fell in love with farm-type games when the internet came around. I used to play a ton of them back in the day, but now they're all shut down. Still, I wanted to find a new game that was similar, and out of all the options, Ёжики is the only one with these adorable characters.

Milota I was really surprised by how quickly the game gets going. Those first few tutorials fly by, and before you know it, you're already at levels 4, 5, and 6. But then things start to get a bit more complicated. The thing is, Yozhik's got a pretty limited amount of energy - just 100 units. It takes a while to refill, too - about an hour or an hour and a half, I think. And to till a single plot, you need 3 units of energy. But as the plots keep piling up, you'll find yourself running out of energy in no time. I've had to stop playing mid-till more times than I can count.

Of course, you can always go ask your neighbors for some energy, but that requires a bit of prep work - you need to make some provisions using the crops you've harvested. And let me tell you, it takes a lot of provisions to get what you need. And harvesting those crops? That's no easy feat either. I mean, if you've got a single patch of wheat with 3 stalks, that's 3 units of energy right there. But to harvest all 30 plots, I've found myself using up almost all my energy in just over a minute and a half. And then the game just stops until I've got some more energy.

As you level up, though, you'll start to find energy in all sorts of places - in guest quests, while fishing for crabs, at the beehive, and of course, from your neighbors. Beehive Bonanza
I'm currently at level 49, and to be honest, energy's not really a problem for me anymore. Milota
Lighthouse Location
Cozy Corner

Decorating all these different locations is actually really fun. It's amazing how cute everything looks.

The beehive's a great spot, too - you get all sorts of rewards if you collect enough bee points and send your bees on a trip. And they even bring back honey! Beehive Quests and Rewards
And then there are the festivals in the forest - they're always a great time, and you can get some awesome rewards. Or, if you're feeling flush, you can just buy something in the festival shop. Pink Interior - Festival Gift class="inline-image-title">A Visit from the Kitten. Mushroom Party.

Holiday Fun with Tasks and Gifts
I love getting gifts from my neighbors in the mail. The best part is that I get to choose what I really need right now. But, I can only pick three things. And, they can only be sent to me by five of my neighbors. Gifts from My Neighbors
Yoshi has a store where I can buy seeds, furniture, and energy. A lot of things can only be bought with gold coins. But, I can buy those coins with real money, just like I can buy energy. The Store

The boat is only for sale with gold coins, but it's totally worth it. You Can Only Buy the Boat with Gold Coins

The worst part is collecting resources to open a new location or build a new building. You need to collect a ton of resources just to figure out how to do it in the first place. Collecting a Ton of Resources
It usually takes 4-5 parts to make one thing, and each part is made up of even more parts. You Need a Ton of Stuff to Make One Thing
But, you can earn regular coins by attending festivals. Yoshi makes some treats, and when all the orders are in, you can invite guests. Yoshi Invites Guests to the Festival
This game is definitely for patient people. Collecting resources for weeks can be super boring. And, it's easy to get confused about what you need and why, because one thing leads to another and takes you away from the main goal. But, it's also kind of relaxing. The visual charm of the characters, the design freedom, and just the overall cuteness of it all...

I highly recommend this game. I really love it.I've gotta say, after using the EasyClean vacuum for a while now, I'm really impressed with how well it's held up. The EasyClean is still sucking up dirt and dust like a pro, and I haven't had to replace any of the filters yet. I was a bit worried that it would start to lose its oomph after a few months, but so far, so good. The EasyClean is still my go-to for quick cleanups around the house.
