Specifications
I'm a huge fan of Voronezh's Central Market, and I'm here to tell you why. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for fresh produce, and I've been going there for about 6-7 years now.
What can I say about our market? It's amazing! Two floors of great products, and I'm not just talking about the produce. You'll find all sorts of goodies, from marshmallows to halva, marzipan, and sherbet.
I'll start with the second floor, where you'll find local production. Of all the products I buy at the market, my favorite sweet treat is marshmallow. The price range varies depending on the filling, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The cheapest marshmallow is the classic flavor, while the more expensive ones have different fillings and additives.
There's also other sweet treats like halva, marzipan, and sherbet. Today, I came specifically for marshmallow, and I chose 4 different flavors.
Right next to the marshmallow is delicious chocolate. The products vary - classic and filled - and there are even chocolate figurines, including this year's popular symbol, the horse.
When I'm at the market, I often grab a pastry or some cookies. But, I've actually learned to bake my own pastries, like the classic Petersburg pastry and some delicious Gata cookies. I still need to master the art of making the Bird's Milk cake, though!
The fruit and veggie chips look super appealing. At the market, I often buy cheese or other dairy products that are made in-house.
And, of course, the meat products are top-notch too. What really draws me in at the market is the open space where the products are made. It's super clean, and the staff are all wearing special gear. It's really inviting, and it makes me want to buy more!
They often promise enticing gifts! It's a pleasure to shop here! There's a dumpling place, you can grab a bite.
There are plenty of cozy spots to grab a snack.Let's head down to the first floor.
There's a ton of different products in the stores and on the shelves.
Vegetables and fruits.
Cured meats, bacon, sausages - you can always try some and pick your favorite flavor.
Northern delicacies.
Sweet confectionery products: baked goods, gingerbread, cakes, candies.
And that's how I ended up with this review of the Central Market! When you visit the market, you'll find a ton of options for products to take home - whether you're looking for something special for a holiday meal or just a regular weeknight dinner.
