My Worst Experience with a Driving School - Don't Waste Your Money
check_circlePros
- The instructors are knowledgeable and can teach you a thing or two about driving.
- The racing tracks are actually pretty cool – I got to drive on some nice roads.
- The school's location is convenient, but that's about where the positives end.
- The school has a nice lobby area where you can hang out before your lessons.
- The school's website looks pretty modern and easy to navigate.
- I have to admit, the instructors are pretty passionate about driving, which is a plus.
cancelCons
- They'll try to charge you extra for 'upgrades' that you don't need.
- The school's business practices are super shady – they're just out to make a quick buck.
- They'll dock your time if you're late by just 5-10 minutes.
- Each exam costs 1200 rubles, and they'll try to charge you the new rate even if you paid for it at the old rate.
- They don't recognize their mistakes and will try to 'upgrade' the track to get more money out of you.
- The school's customer support is basically non-existent.

Editor's Summary
I'm still fuming about my experience with this driving school. They're just out to make a quick buck. I paid 50% of the school's fee upfront on the racing tracks, but things quickly went downhill from there. The instructors are great, but the school's business practices are shady at best. Don't waste your money on this place – trust me, you won't regret it.

I'm still fuming about my experience with this driving school. They're just out to make a quick buck. I paid 50% of the school's fee upfront on the racing tracks, and I've got the receipts to prove it. After I complained, they somehow managed to 'upgrade' the track to be good for two weeks, not just one. The instructors are great, but here's the thing: you pay for two hours, but they use your 15-minute break for themselves. So, if you're late by 5-10 minutes, they'll just dock that time from your session. It's your money, but they get to use it to rush other students through their lessons. Each exam costs 1200 rubles - I had a few paid sessions at the old rate in 2024, but they tried to charge me the new rate when I asked about it. I was not happy about that.
Today, July 25, 2025, they 'got back' at me for my comment. I went to pay for a retake exam, and they told me to go to a different driving school for the test, citing a clause in our contract that supposedly made it null and void since I'd already gotten my license. They refused to refund my pre-paid sessions and gave me a paltry 3200 rubles back.
