My Husband's Shampoo Became My Go-To - And I'm Totally Sold!

I found myself in a weird situation - I started using my husband's shampoo. At first, he was using it, and I picked up a replacement from Wildberry because his Hedden Shoulder's was getting low. That's when I caught a whiff of the amazing cinnamon and wood scent, which I wouldn't call a typical men's fragrance - it's more unisex. I had to try it out for myself.

The packaging is really nice - it's in line with the brand's style, with warm yellow and black tones at the top and white at the bottom. The plastic is a chocolate brown color, and the cap is flip-open and feels really convenient.

This 2-in-1 sulfate-free shampoo and body wash is gentle yet effective in cleaning and caring for both the body and scalp. The protein-based formula repairs damaged hair, strengthens, and rejuvenates its structure. The natural shampoo contains a complex of pomegranate seed and macadamia nut oils, which have a restoring effect. The active ingredients in the shampoo help to strengthen hair and stimulate the formation of keratin fibers. Extracts of sandalwood, juniper, and green coffee activate hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is how runny this gel shampoo is - it's hard to get a decent amount in your palm. Plus, it doesn't lather up well on my hair. Yeah, I can use a loofah to get it to foam, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for in a shampoo.

Because of the weak lather, I find myself using a lot of this shampoo. And I'm not just talking about the first wash - I need to do a second round to get my hair really clean. I've got oily roots and dry ends, so I'm used to double-washing anyway.

As you can see from the photos, it takes a lot of this stuff to get my hair clean. But the good news is that it doesn't dry out my hair or scalp, and it doesn't cause any itchiness or flakiness. It rinses out easily and leaves no residue behind.

After using this shampoo for a month, I'm happy to say that my hair looks great - it's clean, shiny, and feels healthy. Of course, I do use a hair mask and some oil on my ends to keep them moisturized, but that's just part of my regular routine.

My hair stays clean for a few days, but that's about it. I'll keep using this shampoo as long as it keeps performing well - so far, so good!

I'm pretty happy with this shampoo - it's not perfect, but it gets the job done. I'd say it's a great option for couples, replacing four bottles at once. It does a fantastic job of cleaning both hair and body, leaving behind a gorgeous cedar scent with a hint of sandalwood - although it does fade quickly. On the plus side, it doesn't strip or dry out my skin. I'd definitely recommend it and plan to buy it again in bulk.
