Given my past experiences, I wasn't exactly expecting much from this line. Still, I decided to take a chance and bought the 'Wild Mac' fragrance blind, mainly because I'd read great reviews and it was on sale for a reasonable price – 250 rubles on Ozon.
I opted for the 'Wild Mac' because the 'Sensitive Iris' wasn't in stock, but I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to try it. The price point made it a safe purchase, and I'm glad I didn't miss out.

Gi Alai has revamped their packaging, and I have to admit, I've grown to like the new look. The price, however, has skyrocketed – 250 rubles is a steal, considering the original price was 170 rubles (now it's 400 rubles and up). I'm a firm believer in using up products before they go bad, so I don't mind the price hike.
Longevity
I'll get straight to the point – the 'Bouquet de Russie' line has a major flaw: its longevity. 'Wild Mac' lasts a maximum of three hours if you spray it liberally, and around five hours if you're more conservative. By the next day, there's hardly any scent left on your clothes. For me, it's not always a deal-breaker, especially when considering the overall value for money, the ability to update the fragrance, and the way it develops over time.
'Wild Mac' is no copycat – it's a genuine eau de toilette with a nice diffusion and a subtle trail. It just doesn't last very long. I've gotten so obsessed with it that I've been reapplying it every three hours.

I have no idea how almond or mimosa smells, as they're not common around here. My best guess is that it's a sweet, spicy note with a hint of green from the basil, followed by a rich, powdery cream. There's a lot of musk in the scent, and the base note is a barely perceptible wooden tone that I couldn't quite place as sandalwood or cedar.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Wild Mac – I love it especially after a shower, paired with Red Moscow body lotion. Sometimes I'll indulge in a little ritual: I'll steam myself in the shower with a scrub, moisturize with Red Moscow, and then apply a single drop of Wild Mac from my little bottle. The final touch is three spritzes, and it's just beautiful.
