Editor's Summary
The Weissgauff HV 312 B is a budget-friendly stovetop that offers decent value for the price. However, it has some significant drawbacks, including a scorching hot front burner and a worn-out surface after only 2.5 months of use. It's a good choice for those on a tight budget, but it may not last as long as more expensive options. The stovetop is easy to install and use, with intuitive controls and a whisper-quiet operation. But, the auto-shutoff feature can be finicky, and the child safety features can be a pain to use. The stovetop also has a 2+1 year warranty, which is a plus.
Specifications
Hello fellow readers,
Last year, our trusty glass ceramic panel with 4 burners finally gave up the ghost. The heating element stopped working correctly, and the panel got cracked. So, when we decided to replace our kitchen countertop, we thought it was a good time to replace the panel too. This time, we opted for a 2-burner stovetop to save some cash. We wanted something that wouldn't break the bank, and the Weissgauff HV 312 B caught our eye on Ozon.

The Glide Zone burner design, filling your kitchen with a sense of elegance and high style
I have to disagree, there's no elegance, it's all pretty standard and straightforward.
The controls are super intuitive. I love how the power button is on the right-hand side. You press it, and then you get these little gaps, and you have to press the round thingy that corresponds to the burner you want to use.Once it's lit, you can just slide your hand across the scale (slider) to choose the temperature. And, yeah, 9 is the max temperature - there are 9 levels of power in total.
But, here's the cool part - the stove puts out 3200 watts of power. And, the best part? It heats up super fast, and it's whisper quiet while it's working.
Now, the rear burner is a bit bigger, but it's stuck against the wall, so it's a bit of a pain to use with a big pot.
The timer button on the left is pretty much useless, but you can set a timer if you want to.
What doesn't impress me is how the front burner gets scorching hot after a while. To cool it down, you have to touch the really hot surface, and it's a real pain to wipe it clean - that's a major downside.
It's got auto-shutoff and child safety features, so even adults had to press the sensors for ages to get anything working - and it didn't always turn on right away.
Also, the surface of the panel. After 2.5 months of use, it's already gotten so worn out from pots and pans that nothing can clean it - the black marks are now a dull gray. It's not exactly the most attractive look, and I'm worried about what it'll be like in a few years. According to the warranty, the panel should last at least 3 years (2+1 year warranty).
BeforeI'll be honest, for the price (around $60 or 4700 rubles), it's tough to find something that offers good value without any major drawbacks. When you buy cheap tech, there's always a risk of it not lasting long. Our previous device lasted 14 years – it was a purchase from IKEA, and if it hadn't been smashed (literally, objects fell on top of it), it would've kept going strong.
So, I'd give this device a solid 3 out of 5.
Thanks for reading.
