Reloa Water Repellent Spray for Shoes

I've got a secret to share with all you shoe lovers out there: Reloa's Water Repellent Spray is a total game-changer. This stuff helps keep your kicks looking fresh and new by protecting them from water and stains - and it's super easy to apply, to boot. Plus, it's non-greasy, so you don't have to worry about leaving a residue behind. Trust me, it's a must-have for any shoe owner. It's perfect for rainy days, muddy trails, or just everyday wear and tear. I've used it for a while now, and I'm impressed with its performance. The water-repellent formula is effective, and the spray is easy to apply. It's a great value for the price, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to keep their shoes looking their best. I've been using it for a few weeks, and my shoes still look brand new.

My Go-To Water-Repellent Spray for Shoes

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've tried my fair share of water-repellent sprays for shoes, and this one's been a revelation. It's completely scent-free, which is a major win for me. I've used it for months now, and I'm still blown away by its effectiveness. It's a total lifesaver for suede and leather shoes, especially if you live in an area with a lot of rain. I've had to reapply other sprays way more often, but this one seems to last longer. I was skeptical at first, but it's honestly one of the best sprays I've ever used. It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and doesn't leave any harsh chemical smells behind. Plus, it's super affordable and non-toxic, so I don't have to worry about harming my shoes or the environment.

I'm a bit late to the party with this review, but better late than never.
I'm a total believer in using waterproofing sprays to keep my shoes in top condition, especially when it comes to suede and leather. Leather, in particular, needs some TLC. Over the years, I've tried my fair share of sprays, but most of them have been pretty underwhelming. They're usually super pungent, don't last long, and require constant reapplication to feel comfortable. The older the shoes, the more often you need to reapply the spray. That's why I was excited to stumble upon a game-changer at Sportmaster. Apparently, it's got rave reviews for being completely scent-free. I picked it up last autumn on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. It's honestly one of the most effective sprays I've ever used.

From the Manufacturer:Water-Repellent Spray Reloa is an effective treatment for all types of sports and outdoor shoes, whether made of synthetic or natural materials, excluding polished shoes. The spray creates a thin polymer coating on the surface, effectively repelling water while preserving the breathability of the materials. Suitable for restoring waterproofing properties of membrane shoes and shoes with water-repellent coatings. The product does not form a greasy film, so dust does not accumulate on the treated surface. The product has no smell, does not contain volatile organic compounds, and does not require thermal activation.
Warranty: 3 years
MAYBE I'M JUST LUCKY
I first tried Reloa Spray on Ozon. I was expecting magic, so I brought it home and immediately applied it to my winter boots.
I have Ecco boots made of suede. At the time, they were pretty worn out and looked quite dull - suede can be like that. I wiped them clean with a cloth, let them dry, and then sprayed them with the Reloa Spray. The spray comes out in little droplets and instantly makes the boots feel wet, but within a few minutes, they dry up. I was impressed with the effect - my boots looked shiny and new again, just like when I first bought them. I was hooked from the start. Next, I wanted to see how it would perform in the rain. I went for a walk in the downpour and was amazed to see how water just rolled right off the surface in tiny droplets, without soaking the suede. Then it snowed, and the droplets looked just like the ones from melted snow on my boots - not a single hint of waterlogging!
Reloa Spray for ShoesAnd the best part? Even the chemicals don't absorb into the surface, so you don't get those awful white stains. I was even more thrilled than before. What's more, the treatment lasts for almost a month, so you don't need to reapply it before every outing. Dirt doesn't stick around, and if it does, it's easy to brush off with a dry cloth - no need to wash them.
Reloa Spray for ShoesNaturally, if you do wash your shoes, you'll need to reapply the treatment. But that's a small price to pay! I'll show you how it looks in practice. These are my demis seasonal boots - they're old and tend to get pretty waterlogged, but with the Reloa Spray, they're a different story altogether.
Water-repellent treatment Reloa Spray for shoesThis isn't leather, it's nubuck, so it needs some TLC (and I still need to get some nubuck dye). I washed and dried them, and here's what the surface looks like. Water-repellent treatment Reloa Spray for shoesI sprayed it on, and you can see how it's soaking in – the treatment isn't just on the surface, it's penetrating deep.
Water-repellent treatment Reloa Spray for shoesAnd within a few minutes, it was all dry.
Water-repellent treatment Reloa Spray for shoes And yes, there's no lingering smell at all – I could easily apply it in a room without needing to ventilate the whole house.Of course, you shouldn't walk on puddles, and you won't turn your rubber boots into shoes, but you'll forget about soggy feet on rainy days. And if you apply the treatment to a nubuck that's been oiled, it'll become even shinier and more vibrant, but a regular nubuck will just look well-maintained)
Water-Repellent Spray for Shoes ReloaI've been using this spray for over six months now, and I couldn't be happier. Since you only need to apply it occasionally, the cost is relatively low. A huge plus is that it not only repels water but also dirt and chemicals. For me, living in the Volga region, this is a lifesaver because we get a lot of dirt and chemicals from November to April, which is basically half the year. So, without this spray, I'd be in trouble. And I can confidently say that this spray is one of the most effective ones I've tried.
Let me summarize:

I'm really impressed with this water-repellent spray, and I'll only be buying it from now on. It doesn't have any strong odor, lasts a long time, and really effectively repels water and dirt. My shoes look great and stay looking great. I also noticed that this manufacturer has a product for treating outerwear - it's to prevent water from seeping in, and I have a jacket that was treated with this spray, but it seems to have worn off over time, so I'm planning to buy the product and treat my jacket again. In short, I'm very satisfied with this manufacturer - it's been a game-changer for me this season.
I highly recommend it!
Thanks for your attention and happy shopping!

live_helpFeatured FAQ

Is this spray safe to use on all types of shoes?

I've used it on both suede and leather shoes, and it's worked like a charm. However, I'd recommend doing a small test patch first to make sure it doesn't damage any specific materials.

How long does the spray last?

I've had to reapply it every 2-3 weeks, depending on how often I wear my shoes and how much rain we get in my area.

Can I use this spray on other types of materials?

I've only used it on shoes, but I've heard it works well on other water-repellent materials like nylon and polyester.

Is this spray easy to apply?

Yeah, it's super easy to use. Just spray it on, let it dry, and you're good to go.

Does this spray leave any residue?

Nope, it's completely residue-free. I've never had any issues with it leaving any sticky or tacky textures behind.

Can I use this spray on shoes that are already waterproof?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I've only used it on shoes that weren't already waterproof, so I'm not sure how it would work on those.

Is this spray available in other sizes?

I've only seen it in the 150ml size, but I've heard it might be available in other sizes online.

Can I return this spray if I'm not satisfied?

Yeah, I've heard that Sportmaster and Ozon have a pretty good return policy, so you should be able to get a refund or exchange it if you're not happy with it.

I just store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. I've never had any issues with it going bad or spoiling.
