Hello everyone!
I was craving something new for spring/summer, so I started browsing online stores. Vsemayki was one of the first places I checked out.
I'd ordered a custom t-shirt from them back in 2017, and I'd been getting spam emails ever since. I figured, why not give them another try?
I ended up ordering three t-shirts and a long-sleeve shirt, with delivery via post office. Everything looked great on the website - I had to really resist the urge to order a few more things, and I was eagerly waiting for the delivery.
Saying I'm not satisfied would be a lie! The t-shirts are pretty pricey, with an average price of around 1350 rubles for what I ordered. I was hoping the quality would be up to par, considering the price. With that kind of money, you can usually get a few decent t-shirts from other online stores.
But... unfortunately, take a look for yourself:
The long-sleeve shirt's neckline is sewn with wrinkles. It looks like it was thrown together in a hurry.
The long-sleeve shirt looks more like a pajama top. It's not exactly what I was expecting.
The sizing is just ridiculous! I ordered two t-shirts in size 44, one made of 100% cotton and the other with a synthetic blend. According to the size chart, the difference between them shouldn't be more than 4 cm. But in reality:
The cotton blend t-shirt is supposed to be 55.5 cm long, but it's actually only 52.5 cm. That's almost 3 inches short, and I'm 5'7" (170 cm). If the shirt's length is less than 55 cm, you'll need to make sure you're not flashing your stomach.
I relied on the model's photo, who's supposed to be 5'8" (173 cm). But on me, the shirt is clearly shorter. The website doesn't list the length of the shirt, which is a major oversight.
Now check out the stitching on the hem and the seam.
I ordered a size 42, which fits me, but I prefer a looser fit, so I usually go for a 44. However, considering this shirt is already short, it looks a bit awkward.

Now let's take a look at the cotton shirt. The website doesn't mention that the shoulder width of a size 44 will be the same as a size 48. I chose the standard size, not oversized.
For comparison - the shoulder seam of the synthetic shirt
The size is the same, but the difference is 6 cm! That's a huge discrepancy.
The neckline is also poorly stitched, with wrinkles. The shoulder seam and neckline clearly didn't match up, with the seam sticking out like wings.

In the end, I wanted to return the long-sleeved shirt with the poorly stitched neckline and the size 42 shirt.
I was excited to see that the website mentioned I could return or exchange the item if I wasn't satisfied.
But it turned out that's not as straightforward as it sounds. They told me in an email that I'd have to pay 490 rubles to return it, which was a bummer.
I started looking for alternative tops to exchange it for, but now that I'd seen the sizes and quality, it was tough to decide.
I asked the customer support team some follow-up questions, but they just sent me a generic response saying to check the sizes on the website. The whole conversation felt super impersonal.
I had mentioned earlier that the synthetic top was supposed to be 55.5 cm long, but let's be real, I was being generous to the store. To get that measurement, I had to really stretch it.
But when I checked the website, they didn't even list the length of the top!
Check for yourself
no length listedAt first, I wanted to order a similar top in a larger size, but I wanted to know how long it would be first. So I asked the customer support team, but it took a while to get a detailed table with the measurements.
What's weird is that they don't even list the size information in the product card. I had to really push them to get it out of them.
Here's the info with the length
Which isn't even 52.5 cm.
So I asked the customer support team why my top was 52.5 cm long, not 55.5 cm, and if it was maybe a defect. They told me that it's possible there's a 2 cm margin of error, and that my top being 3 cm shorter is also within that range. I'm not sure I agree with that math...
I guess the model wearing the top on the website is just really lucky and got the 2 cm bonus.
I decided not to risk ordering another synthetic t-shirt in a larger size because all these 'allowances' with length just didn't fit me.
But I still processed the exchange and had to order t-shirts that I might not have bought otherwise. I ordered a t-shirt for my husband and a t-shirt to go under a jacket for myself, understanding that with this quality of sewing, I'd probably never wear it without a jacket.
The exchange, of course, didn't go in my favor. When I placed the initial order, I had a promo code for a discount. When I placed the order for the exchange, I no longer had that discount, so the t-shirts ended up being more expensive, and I had to pay extra.
I also want to add that I initially placed the order because I had the promo code. I think the prices are way too high.

The shoulder seam on the t-shirt I received as an exchange was also poorly done
But that's not all. I deliberately sprayed water on it - hopefully, this will be visible in the photo, showing that the knit fabric used to make the t-shirt is stretched diagonally, not straight, so it's already clear that the t-shirt is skewed and the water droplets are running not down, but to the side.
After washing, these kinds of things only get worse.
This t-shirt costs 1240 rubles. And now, for comparison, I bought a t-shirt from another online store for 600 rubles. It doesn't have any skewing and the neckline is sewn without wrinkles, and the armhole length matches the size.
Let's just say I'm not impressed with the fact that this t-shirt is made from a fabric that's not even properly aligned. It's a clear defect, but not one that the seller's taking responsibility for. I mean, the length of the shirt is 52.5 cm - that's just another 'acceptable' flaw in their book. So, I'm stuck with this subpar quality t-shirt.

I've got to agree with the 3-star rating on this website, but to me, it's even lower. What's weird is that the store's website is full of glowing reviews, but I'm not buying it. You can't even sort the reviews to see the negative ones - all you see are the positive ones. And it's just common sense to put reviews for the same product model on the product page, so customers can figure out the size and all that. It's just not helpful to have them all jumbled up.
I also noticed that people are complaining about the sizing being off. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's had to return a shirt because of it. It's just a major issue.
And then there are the reviews saying that the print fades after just a few washes. Not exactly what I want to hear when I'm buying a new shirt for spring/summer.
Instead of feeling excited about my purchase, I'm left with a bunch of negative emotions, the hassle of returning/exchanging the shirt, and a product that's just okay. And to top it all off, the prices are way too high. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this store to my friends - I only recommend good stuff.
