Terrible.
check_circlePros
- The performers were top‑notch and kept the music sounding great even with the chaos.
- The sound system cut through the open‑air space and let you hear everything clearly.
- Free‑seat meant I could just show up on a whim without buying a ticket.
- The amphitheater backdrop was beautiful when you actually got a view of the stage.
- Organizers tried to be flexible, shuffling folks to other spots when the main area filled up.
cancelCons
- All the spots in the main section were snapped up before most people even got there.
- There was no clear seating plan, so everyone ended up pushing around and a lot of us couldn't see the stage.
- They dumped a bunch of us into a back area where the stage was just a tiny blur.
- The random dress‑code enforcement was stressful and felt totally unnecessary.
- The concrete steps were packed like sardines—uncomfortable and not safe at all.

Editor's Summary
I went to a free‑seat concert in Volgograd expecting a relaxed evening, but it turned into a mad scramble. The musicians were solid and the sound was great, yet the venue was a nightmare—packed to the brim, no clear seating, and a weird dress‑code that felt out of place. Honestly, I wish I'd just stayed home. The only thing that saved the night was the talent on stage; the organization was a total letdown.
Specifications
We thought we’d have a nice evening together.
It was a concert in an open‑air amphitheater with free seating, in the city of Volgograd.
We got there about half an hour early, only to see every seat in our section already taken. Chaos broke out, and they tried to shove us into another area where you literally can’t see the stage.
The organizers said the only other option was to ask people to move their bags or shuffle around. When the music finally started, everyone crowded onto the concrete steps, some even sitting on the floor in dresses—yeah, there was a dress code.
Any chance of actually enjoying the music vanished. Somehow we squeezed onto a few wooden benches instead of the steps. After an hour stuck in that cramped spot I just stopped feeling anything.
My solo dance to a piece from “Schindler’s List” turned into the highlight of my misery – all I could think about was getting up and feeling my hips again.
I’ve got no complaints about the performers. They would’ve sounded amazing in a comfortable setting.
We dropped 5,000 on two tickets. If you still decide to go, wear comfy clothes and bring a pillow.
I’m only giving two stars for the artists. My real rating for this so‑called “great” event? Zero.
