Waterfront Hotel in Yaroslavl Center

In the heart of Yaroslavl, on the waterfront, lies the interesting hotel 'Volga Pearl'. The hotel's unique feature is that it stands on the water. The building itself is fresh and very charming. A great view of the river is guaranteed.

There is a free city parking lot nearby. There are plenty of spaces, so parking is not a problem.

We enter the hotel, and it's already decorated for the new year. The atmosphere is very warm and festive.

We head to the reception. The staff is very polite and helpful, explaining everything and showing us around. They even checked us in an hour and a half earlier than planned, as our room was already ready.

At the reception, there is information about sauna services and other events, so you can spend your time nicely.

The room keys are personalized, each guest has their own.

We proceed to the room, which was located on the second floor. To get to the second floor, you need to climb quite steep stairs. It's worth considering when booking.

On the floor near the rooms, there is a water cooler and an ironing board. There are no water bottles in the room.

Let's take a look at the room. It's not very big, but with very high ceilings.

The bed is comfortable, and the bedding is white.

There is a TV in the room.

Among the useful little things, there are slippers, a kettle, a refrigerator. There are tea bags and cups, a table, and a mirror.

The room has a balcony with a great view of the Volga. I think it's especially beautiful in the summer.

The bathroom is large, with a window. There is a limited selection of cosmetics: soap, toothbrushes, and one tube of shampoo and conditioner.

There is a hair dryer and a mirror.

The shower is not very big, but you can take a comfortable shower.

The most important thing is that everything is very clean.

There is a restaurant at the hotel. I won't write a separate post about it, as there's not much to say. We went in just to have a snack.

We ordered two dishes, a couple of liqueurs, and tea.

The herring was not bad, but unfortunately, there was no bread served with it (two small crackers per serving are not enough). We had to order a separate bun, which arrived just as the herring was almost finished.

I ordered Pavlova for dessert. It was not very tasty. The meringue was not baked properly and stuck to my teeth.

The liqueurs were also quite average.

The service was not very client-oriented, but I won't lower the hotel's rating for the restaurant. It's great that it's there, and if needed, you can have a snack on the spot.
