Hello everyone!
I'm sure many of you have heard of the VOIS brand by now. It's gained popularity quickly, and for good reason - the prices are pretty affordable, and the results are impressive. I was one of the first to jump on the bandwagon, and I tried the Total Repair hair mask in the yellow bottle. Yes, that one that claims to repair, restore, smooth, and transform your hair from roots to ends. I was expecting big things, but I didn't end up repurchasing it, and decided to try something new. I bought the VOIS Pro-Growth Hair Mask in the pink bottle from Wildberries.
VOIS Pro-Growth Hair Mask
Product Details:
Price: 400 rubles.
Where to buy: As I mentioned earlier, I ordered my bottle from Wildberries, and you can also find it on Ozon.
Volume: 350 ml.
Active ingredients:
It contains a blend of ingredients like rapeseed oil, coconut oil, ginger extract, keratin, biotin, and more...
Effect of the VOIS hair mask:
While the yellow one focused on repair, this one is all about strengthening and promoting healthy hair growth. And that's exactly what it's called: Pro-Growth.
Mask for Healthy Hair
I fell for the marketing hype, especially since I'm trying to regrow my damaged length and get my hair back to its pre-experiment state. I've been using a lot of hair masks and treatments, and I'm pretty sure it's helped me get my hair looking somewhat presentable.
Packaging:
The packaging is a cardboard box with a large plastic container inside. It's all neatly done and looks really nice. The manufacturer even threw in some uplifting messages.
The box has a transparent plastic cover to prevent it from opening, and the lid has a foil membrane underneath. The container was almost full.
You can find all the necessary information about the product on the packaging, including the ingredients, properties, and usage instructions.
Characteristics:
The VOIS Pro-Growth Hair Mask looks pretty standard, just like other similar products. It's a white color, has a medium consistency, and a uniform texture.
I don't feel any greasiness when I use it, but it does make my hair look greasier faster, so I only apply it to the ends and not the roots, or else it completely flattens my hair and I'm left with a greasy-looking head the next day.
The scent of this mask is pretty strong, with a distinct perfume-like fragrance. It smells like some sort of herbs and oils, but it's not bad.
Application and results:
After I decided to bleach my hair a few times, I knew I'd have to live with the consequences. Now I'm just trying to maintain what's left and gradually get rid of the dry ends. It's not easy, especially with the amount of grey hair I have.
There's not much left, but the quality of my hair is still not what it used to be. I've got a lot of grey hair now, and I'm constantly dyeing it to keep it looking decent. Hair masks, balms, and treatments have been helping me get my hair looking somewhat presentable.
I use the VOIS Pro-Growth Hair Mask once or twice a week, following the instructions. I start by washing my hair with shampoo, getting rid of excess water, and then applying the mask along the length of my hair.
I found that the best results come from using it for a bit longer. But even with just 5 minutes, you can still see a noticeable transformation in your hair.
I'm repeating myself, but I don't use it on my roots because it makes them greasier and loses all the volume. I also didn't notice any impact on hair growth - they're still falling out less, but at the same rate of 1-1.5 cm per month.
Now, let's talk about the state of my hair. The manufacturer claims that this product has a cumulative effect, meaning the longer you use it, the better the results.
Honestly, I did notice that my hair felt like it was getting over-processed, so after a while, it just lost all its volume, got dirty super fast, and looked like a mess of knots. When I realized something was off, I started alternating this mask with another hair treatment. At least that seemed to help - the 'dirty sponge' effect was gone.
Other than that, the mask does a decent job of taking care of my hair, keeping it moisturized and helping to structure my curls. Since I have wavy hair, that's a big deal for me. In reality, it does everything it's supposed to do, which is exactly what I needed.
Comparing the VOIS masks in the yellow and pink containers, I have to say I liked the yellow one better. The effect from that one was more pronounced, whereas with this one, I see more of a visual effect rather than any significant impact on my hair's structure.
Verdict:
The effect from using this VOIS mask was pretty overhyped. It's a regular product that does its basic job, but that's it.
