Grizzly SMS - Virtual Phone Numbers

I've been using Grizzly SMS for a while now, and it's been a game-changer. Need a virtual phone number? They've got you covered. Perfect for SMS verification, two-factor authentication, and more. It's super easy to use, super reliable, and won't break the bank. I've tried a few other services, but Grizzly SMS is my go-to for virtual phone numbers.

A Nightmare Experience with This Service - Buyer Beware

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the disaster that was my experience with this virtual number service. The registration process was a total pain, and trying to top up my balance was even worse. When I finally got to choose a number, things only went downhill from there. The whole ordeal left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I'd advise others to think twice before using this service, especially if you value your sanity.

A Nightmare Experience with This Service - Buyer Beware
Hello.
I'm writing this review because my experience with this service was a complete disaster. To be honest, I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened.
I was trying to buy a virtual number, but things didn't go as planned. I ended up getting scammed out of a small amount of money. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's the truth.
Before I could even start buying, I had to register. That meant topping up my balance, which wasn't exactly convenient. I had to transfer money to my account and wait for them to confirm it. I was worried that even if I provided a receipt, they might tell me the transfer didn't go through.
Topping up costs a minimum of 250₽, which I thought was a bit steep. I sent the transfer, and I'm not blaming the service for the commission. I was really scared, though, because I'd read some terrible reviews beforehand. Luckily, my balance was topped up, and they didn't ask for anything extra or deduct anything.
Next, I started choosing numbers to buy. Here's how it works: you choose a number and a service, and then you buy it immediately - there's no other way. I chose Telegram, for example. The number is displayed, and I enter it into the registration field in Telegram, and I'm supposed to get a code. On the website, there's a countdown timer showing how long it'll take for the code to arrive. Then I enter the code, which I receive, and supposedly I'm already logged into my Telegram account.
But my problem wasn't that the code didn't arrive - it was something else entirely. When I entered the number in Telegram, it said that the code would arrive on a different device, and that I couldn't make it come to my SMS. No matter how many numbers I tried, none of them worked. The support team was completely unhelpful, and I was starting to feel frustrated.
But if the code doesn't arrive, they do refund your money. I don't know, maybe I just tried too few numbers, but I checked them all thoroughly. Luckily, most of them were cheap, so I didn't lose too much money.
After many failed attempts, I decided to try a different approach - buying a ready-made Telegram account. Well, I bought one. I spent around 70+ rubles. After buying, the following message appeared: I was supposed to follow a link that I've since blurred out. I should have just used my computer. After watching a few tutorials, I almost got it to work, but something was off, and in the end, I was left with nothing - no account, and no money. I had to reach out to customer support again, this time asking if I could get a refund since I couldn't get into the account. They told me no, and that really got under my skin.
Eventually, I decided to withdraw the funds from my balance, just to get out of this mess. I didn't want to lose any more money, even if it was just a small amount. But here's the thing - there's no button to withdraw funds anywhere on the site. I looked in my account dashboard, in my balance, everywhere. Nothing. I had to reach out to customer support once more.
Let me explain - I sent a message asking how to withdraw funds from my balance, and they told me they'd seen it, but didn't respond for 10 whole minutes. I had to send another message, and they said they had a queue. Come on, if you're going to ignore me, at least have the decency to respond immediately.
They asked me for my email address, but by this point, I was so fed up with their lack of response that I wasn't even sure who to turn to. I was worried that they'd just take my money and leave me hanging. I told them straight out that if anything went wrong, they'd be sorry.
Later on, they finally got back to me with instructions on how to withdraw my money. Great, just what I wanted to hear. Too bad they didn't think to include a button for withdrawing funds right on the website. Nope, I had to go yell at them to get my money out.
I'm still in shock, to be honest. At first, I thought it was some kind of joke, but I managed to withdraw my money in the end. By the way, after they sent me that message, I closed the website and came back a few minutes later, only to be kicked out of my account. I mean, I wasn't even gone for days, so I started to wonder if they were trying to scam me.
Long story short, I wouldn't recommend this site or any similar services to my worst enemy. If you want to buy a phone number, just go to a carrier store or a reputable website. Trust me, it's worth the extra effort.
As for the pros, I'm afraid I couldn't find any. The service was completely unhelpful, and I ended up losing money in the process.
On the other hand, the cons are numerous:
The service is completely untrustworthy. The support team is unhelpful and unresponsive. There's no clear way to withdraw funds from your balance. The website is poorly designed and confusing. The service is prone to scams and scams.
