Unicum Gold: A Game-Changing Grease Remover for Your Grill, Oven, and More

When I stumbled upon a negative review of Unicum Gold grease remover for ovens and hobs, I was surprised. We've had this product at home for a while, and it's the only thing that can easily tackle the grease on my hob after cooking chicken, potatoes, and fish.

I couldn't just ignore it and decided to leave another positive review for this product. Today, I'll show you how it works its magic on a plastic trash can and my oven.

As you can see from the pics, our trash can was a mess. It's plastic, woven, and sits in the corner near the washing machine, so I don't even notice it. But when I pulled it out into the light, I saw that it was covered in grease and dust, and it had even gotten into the woven surface.

That's when I grabbed Unicum Gold. It's sold in many stores and online marketplaces, with prices varying. The last time I bought it on Ozon, it cost 246 rubles.

I clean it every month, sometimes every quarter, with a damp sponge and Fairy. But the dirt just comes off weakly, especially in the recesses - it stays put. This time, I decided to take action. I took the trash can to the bathroom, turned on the extractor fan. The only significant minus of this grease remover, in my opinion, is the strong, pungent chemical smell. I always use it with the extractor fan on and keep my allergy-prone daughter out of the room.

I like the convenient packaging with a sprayer. The spray radius is quite good, covering what I need without getting everywhere.

The stove is spotless - my husband is always wiping it down after every meal, so it doesn't get all caked on often.

But the oven, on the other hand, is a different story. Today, I just cleaned the roof of the oven, but tomorrow we'll be using it again, and I want to be able to see what's going on through the window.

I wiped it down, rinsed it with water, and wiped it again. But that old, stubborn grease was a different story. You need to put in some elbow grease and a scrubber with a stiff base to get it out.

Still, the product works. Even with minimal effort. And if you don't let the old grease build up and maintain it regularly, you can get a perfect result.

I use it to clean my range hood filters about 1-2 times a year. After 15 minutes, they're sparkling clean, grease-free, and look like new.

When we had our gas lines replaced at home and had to move all the furniture and countertops, I used Unicum Gold to clean just about everything. The results were always great, even if they weren't always perfect.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who can't stand strong chemical smells or lives in an apartment without a range hood. And if you're looking for a miracle cleaner that'll leave your surfaces spotless without any effort, this isn't the product for you.

But for everyone else, I highly recommend Unicum Gold!
