Editor's Summary
This tour was a complete disaster from start to finish. The safety standards were non-existent, and the equipment was old and broken. The trash situation in the nature reserve was appalling, and the camel ride was a total joke. The banana boat ride was a total safety nightmare. Avoid this tour at all costs.
We booked this tour on February 2nd, 2022, for $160 for two people. Let me tell you, it was a total waste of money. The tour was a complete mismatch for the price and safety standards.
First off, the trash situation in the Nabk Nature Reserve was appalling. It looked like no one even bothered to clean up after themselves. I've been to nature reserves in India, Vietnam, and Thailand, and they were all spotless. This place was a mess, and it's a shame they chose it for a tour.
The ATV ride was another disaster. There were only a few ATVs, and we had to ride in a long line, which made it more like a chore than an adventure. My helmet was broken, and there were no spares. I had to hold it with one hand the whole time.
The canoeing part was a joke. The changing room was a dirty, smelly room that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It was supposed to be a safety measure due to COVID, but it was just a mess.
The camel ride was a total joke. The camels looked like they were starving, and one of them had open wounds. It was a 5-minute ride, and there were only three camels for 20 people. It was a total safety hazard.
The paddleboarding was a total disaster. The equipment was old and broken, and there were only a few boards for 20 people. It was a total free-for-all.
The canyon was the only decent part of the tour. The driver was experienced, and the scenery was nice. But even that was marred by the fact that the acaacia trees were the only living things in the whole area.
The banana boat ride was a total nightmare. The life jackets were old and torn, and the driver was completely unhinged. He had already capsized two groups before us, and my daughter got her contact lens knocked out of her eye during the ride. It was a total safety disaster.
I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy. It's a total waste of money, and it's a safety hazard.
