Secondly, even during the day, it's hard to lounge around on the bed together because I have to keep an eye on her and restrict her movements to prevent her from falling off.

ASSEMBLY
Assembling the side rails took me about 30 minutes. The instructions were clear, and it was a breeze to put it together.
The parts for each side rail came in separate signed packages.
Each part was individually wrapped in its own little package.
The top panels of the side rails are made of foam
Once the frame is assembled, you just slip the fabric over it and secure it with a zipper.
The three assembled side rails fit neatly under the mattress and are secured with clamps at the bottom and connecting brackets at the top.
For added stability and security, there's a connecting plate that fits between the side rails.
Impressions of Use
When assembled, the sides look pretty cool. We ended up with a massive playpen. The sides are pretty tall - 67 cm. The walls are mesh, so you can see right through them.
Each side has pockets.
Each side can be lowered by pressing the buttons provided.
The construction is super sturdy, can handle a kid's weight even when they're leaning on the mesh. The fabric tension is nice and tight.
Now our toys and bottles can't escape and roll under the bed. Our little one especially loved hiding under there.
Our bed has a lifting mechanism, and now we can't lift it with the sides on. Good thing we don't store much under there. However, when we need to access those things, we'll have to disassemble the sides. That's the only downside I've found so far.
I haven't had a chance to change the sheets yet, and I'm guessing that might be a bit of a hassle too.
We didn't need a single screw to set it up - the slat bed frame makes it easy to attach the side rails.
I'm really happy with my purchase, to be honest. Now I can finally relax knowing my little one is safe. I can even leave them on the bed, like a playpen, while I step out for a bit.
