Mascarpone Chocolates: A Mixed Bag
add_circle Pros
- The mascarpone flavor is pretty spot on, which is a major win in my book.
- The chocolates are nicely sized, not too big or too small.
- I love that they're sold pre-packaged – it makes them feel like a more premium product.
- The price is super reasonable, especially considering the net weight of 200 grams.
- I appreciate that they're made by a real manufacturer, not some fly-by-night company.
remove_circle Cons
- The packaging is pretty meh, to be honest – it's just your standard stuff.
- The color scheme isn't really my thing, but hey, that's just me.
- I wish they were available loose, but our supermarkets don't really have a great selection.
- The mascarpone flavor can be a bit overpowering at times, which isn't ideal.
- I'm not a huge fan of the texture – it's a bit too smooth for my taste.

Editor's Summary
I gotta say, I was curious about these Tintarella di Luna filled chocolates with mascarpone flavor, but the packaging didn't exactly blow me away. Still, I'm glad I gave them a try – they're worth every penny, even if they're not the most exciting thing I've ever tasted.
Specifications
Hello everyone!
I've been eyeing these candies for ages when they're delivered, but I've always put off buying them. I thought they'd be some weird, exotic thing, but in the end, curiosity got the better of me and I decided to give them a try.
So, Tintarella di Luna filled chocolates with mascarpone flavor.
Mascarpone flavored chocolates The packaging is pretty meh, it's just your standard stuff, and the color scheme isn't really my thing, but hey, that's just me). These chocolates are sold pre-packaged, I didn't find them loose, but our supermarkets don't really have a great selection, although they've been getting some new stuff in for the new year.
Where to buy? I got them at Perekrestok, I ordered them online, but I've seen them in-store too.
Price is just under 200₽.
Net weight is 200 grams.
Manufacturer is Nevsky Confectionery, I like their sweets, but they're not always a hit.
The packaging has the bare minimum of information, including the full ingredients list and nutritional info.
Tintarella di Luna mascarpone flavored chocolates ingredients I won't comment on the ingredients, they're not exactly impressive, and it's not like they even print them on the chocolates themselves). I don't really pay attention to ingredients, everyone's got their own opinions on that, and it's kinda silly to expect good ingredients for that price.

Tintarella di Luna mascarpone flavored chocolatesTintarella di Luna mascarpone flavored chocolates have the same design as the main packaging. I don't know why, but the color scheme just doesn't do it for me.
The wrapper is double-layered, it does a great job of protecting the chocolate.

Tintarella di Luna Filled Chocolates with Mascarpone ReviewsI've got to say, I loved the shape of these chocolates - it's really unique.
Tintarella di Luna Filled Chocolates with Mascarpone
Tintarella di Luna Filled Chocolates ReviewsThe glaze is applied evenly, but you can see the light filling peeking through in some spots. I've got to give a shout-out to the aroma - it's really unique. I don't really taste the chocolate itself, but I get a strong sense of creaminess and even a hint of cheese. Mascarpone is questionable, but the aroma is still really interesting and light.
Tintarella di Luna Filled Chocolates with Mascarpone ReviewsI'm a big fan of chocolates with white filling - they're always a winner in my book. These didn't disappoint, although they're not perfect.
The glaze is pretty standard and unremarkable. I wouldn't say it's particularly tasty, but it's not bad either - it's just really neutral. The filling, on the other hand, has a much stronger flavor and overpowers the glaze. I found the filling to be a bit too rich, but it's got a really nice creamy taste. It's not really mascarpone, though - it's more like dry milk. It's weird, but I think it's something you'd either love or hate.
Tintarella ChocolatesThe filling is really soft and melts in your mouth instantly. There are these little balls of air in the white mass that are kind of like rice flour. They're not really that common, but I think they're a bit unnecessary - it would be even better without them.
Tintarella di Luna Filled Chocolates with Mascarpone are really, really sweet - almost cloying, but a cup of tea helps balance it out. I couldn't just eat these chocolates on their own - I need to have a cup of tea to go with them. One chocolate with a cup of tea is enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
These chocolates aren't perfect, but their creaminess and hints of dry milk have stuck with me. Mascarpone is still up for debate, but they're worth trying for the variety.
All things considered,
these Tintarella di Luna chocolates with mascarpone filling aren't the worst I've had in a while, but they're not perfect either. I'm not sure if I'll buy them again, but I definitely don't regret this purchase.
