So far, the plot of Podmenysh is looking pretty good, but after three episodes, the puzzle is still coming together slowly. The story is unfolding in a few different time periods, and at first, it was hard to follow. But as the series goes on, you start to get a sense of what's going on and who the characters are.
I'd say the show is a bit slow-paced, but in this case, that's actually working in its favor and building up the tension.

It's more of a mystery/fantasy series, but I wouldn't call it horror. There's something unsettling about it, though. You could also argue it's a thriller, and the drama is pretty intense, bordering on madness (the actors did an amazing job conveying their emotions).

I'm definitely looking forward to the next episodes, and if my opinion changes after watching the whole season, I'll update this review. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 for now, because while it's keeping me on the edge of my seat, there's a huge risk that everything might go off the rails and become confusing (but let's not speculate! :)

I'm still watching Mind Games, but with each episode, it's getting worse and worse. Like I thought, the creators have taken a turn for the worse and I'm not even sure I want to keep trying to figure out what's going on. NOTHING MAKES SENSE! The plot has become so convoluted and murky that it's become impossible to watch. I've even stopped waiting for the final episode and decided to update my review now, lowering my rating to 3. I'll still watch the final episode, but Mind Games won't be getting more than 3 from me :)
I started off enthusiastic, but it's ended up being a disappointment

I just finished the final series and honestly, my opinion of the show 'Substitute' has taken a hit. The whole thing is just a mess, a complete waste of time, and the worst part is that the series ends with no clear resolution. I'm guessing they're planning a second season, but I'm definitely not holding my breath or planning to watch it.
