Hey guys, I'm so glad I finally tried Tangle Teezer!
I have to admit, I was skeptical about spending so much money on a detangling brush. I mean, it's just a brush, right?
But then I got my hands on the TANGLE TEEZER The Wet Detangler, and I was blown away!
After using it for a while, I realized that the mini version would be perfect for me - it's so compact and easy to take on the go.
So, I got my hands on the Wet Detangler Mini in the gorgeous Wisteria Leaf color.

Here's what it says on the box:
The Tangle Teezer The Wet Detangler Mini Wisteria Leaf is a mini version of the popular Wet Detangler. It features patented two-level bristles that gently and quickly detangle wet hair, while also distributing masks and balms evenly. The compact size makes it easy to take on the go, and it's perfect for kids too. The special hole on the handle lets you attach it to your makeup bag, so you can have it with you at all times. Regular use with Tangle Teezer will leave your hair smooth and shiny. Suitable for all hair types. Do not use with a hair dryer. Dimensions: 15 x 5 x 3 cm.
The price was around 70 Belarusian rubles when I got it, but I managed to snag it for about 50 BYN during a sale.

Packaging
***
I don't have a photo of the packaging, but my little one has a newer version, and it came in a cardboard box.
To be honest, the packaging isn't a big deal, but I do have one complaint - the cardboard has a cut-out window. On the one hand, it's nice to be able to see the bristles before buying. On the other hand, the brush gets all smudged and who-knows-what-else gets on it. So, be sure to wash it before first use!
The box does have some nice Russian-language info about the brush, though.

Design
***
The Wet Detangler Mini looks super compact and pretty, if I do say so myself.
My brush in Wisteria Leaf is a bit of a two-tone affair - the front with the bristles is a lovely lavender color, while the back is a pretty blue-green.
Despite being made of two separate parts, the brush feels solid and looks like one cohesive unit - there aren't any gaps or seams to speak of.One thing that's worth noting is that the mini version is significantly smaller than the standard one - the working surface is almost half the size. Plus, the handle has a little hole for hanging it up.
Everything else is identical - the design, the arrangement of bristles, and the quality of the plastic.
The bristles are arranged in a chessboard pattern. The material is flexible enough, so over time (I've been using this comb for over a year) some of the bristles have bent, but they don't break or come out while combing.
The bristles have different lengths, with long and short ones alternating in each row.
The handle on the back side has the brand name embossed on it.
The comb is incredibly lightweight and compact, making it super easy to carry around in a purse or take on the go.***
My hair
***
I have natural, uncolored hair that's around shoulder-length.
It's not super problematic, but it does tend to frizz and get tangled pretty easily. It also gets electrified from time to time.I've been combing my hair with a wide-tooth comb for years, especially after washing, to help it dry in a more manageable way (otherwise, I end up with knots).
I also use this comb on dry hair - it's become my go-to.

Application and my impressions
***
The combing process is pretty comfortable. It doesn't pull on my hair or get stuck.
When I encounter a knot or a mini-bun, the flexible bristles seem to untangle it rather than yanking it out.
On shorter hair, this isn't as noticeable, but on longer hair, you can really feel the difference between this comb and others.
At first, I thought the mini version would struggle to detangle due to its size, but it's just as effective as the standard size.
The bristles are smooth, and the tips are rounded, so there's no discomfort when touching my scalp. The comb doesn't scratch either.Moist hair is even easier to work with than dry hair. A few quick strokes, and you're good to go.
I was relieved to find that the Wet Detangler Mini doesn't mind getting wet, making it perfect for use in the shower or when applying hair masks. It's a great tool for distributing the product evenly throughout your hair.
However, I would recommend using a different attachment when using a hair dryer, as the plastic can melt under the heat. A specialized blow-drying attachment would be a better choice.
One thing I appreciate about this detangler is that it doesn't pull out any unnecessary hair. It only removes what's supposed to come out, leaving your hair looking healthy and shiny.

I've been using the Wet Detangler Mini for a while now, and I'm happy to say that it's been a game-changer for my hair. I was worried that the smaller size would make it harder to detangle my hair, but it's actually been a breeze. The compact size does require a few more strokes, but the results are just as good as with a full-sized detangler.
The Wet Detangler Mini doesn't cause any flyaways or frizz, which is a major bonus. It's also gentle enough not to cause any breakage or split ends.
I've noticed a significant improvement in the overall health of my hair since switching to this detangler. It's been a revelation!
Using the Wet Detangler Mini on wet hair has been a total game-changer for me. It's so much easier and more comfortable than using a regular conditioner or massaging my hair with my fingers.

Care and Maintenance
***
The Wet Detangler Mini is incredibly easy to care for. After each use, I simply wipe off any excess hair from the surface with a gentle touch. You can even use a small amount of liquid soap or shampoo to clean it every week or two.
Just be sure to avoid using hot water, as it can damage the plastic. A warm or cool rinse is perfect.
One of the best things about this detangler is that it dries quickly and easily. You can simply shake off any excess water and it's good to go.
I've had my Wet Detangler Mini for over a year now, and it still looks and feels like new. It's been a fantastic investment.

My Reviews of Other Detanglers

This little Solomeya Aroma brush for wet & dry hair in lemon is a game-changer. I've used it daily for a week, and the build quality has stood up to the test.
I've also been testing the For Me Self-Cleaning Hair Brush, which my husband compares to a kite - an interesting thought, but it's actually really convenient.
And let's not forget the JKeratin blow dryer brush, which is a total phenomenon - I've used it for both dry and wet hair, and it's been a lifesaver.
