My Life-Changing Juice Detox Experience: What I Wish I'd Known
Hello, friends!
I've been meaning to share my juice detox experience with you all for ages, and it's already been a few months since I finished the program. Now that I've finally gotten around to writing this review, I hope it'll be helpful to someone who's considering trying it out.
So, let's get started.
How I Found OutI've been following a girl on YouTube for a while now, Elena Miami (if you're interested, definitely check her out). She's an amazing person, so positive and radiant. Elena's been following a raw food diet, she's super active, and her videos are just stunning in terms of visuals and packed with useful information. If you're concerned about your health and body, her content will be super helpful.
So, Lena organized a free juice detox marathon on her Telegram channel, and anyone who wanted to join could do so. Each day had a new juice recipe, all of which were incredibly tasty, and she also shared a ton of useful information and supported everyone throughout the process. Unfortunately, I found out about the marathon a bit too late, so I couldn't participate with everyone. That's why I ended up doing the juice detox on my own.
Why You Need It
Raw Juice Detox is basically a form of fasting. I wouldn't call it a full-on fast, though, since you still get some nutrients in there, and the hunger pangs are pretty mild. But since the fiber isn't getting in (you're drinking the juice, minus the pulp), the digestive process doesn't kick in, and all those micronutrients and vitamins get absorbed into the bloodstream instantly.
When you fast, your body kicks into a powerful cleansing mode, because it's not wasting energy on digestion. All your internal organs and blood get a deep cleanse from all the toxins that have built up over the years from bad eating, smoking, booze, hormones, and antibiotics in animal products.
What You Need to Get Started with Raw Juice Detox
juicer, preferably a masticating one;time to juice (4 liters a day is a good target, but you can do less – just be careful not to overdo it);a willingness to detox your body, get rid of all those accumulated toxins and waste;a positive attitude and a can-do spirit; Before starting your detox, it's essential to clean your digestive system. This is crucial for removing water-soluble mucus and ensuring the juices you drink are not only pleasant but also beneficial for your health.
There are several methods for cleansing:
Shank Prakshalana Method (you drink a certain amount of salty water and perform a series of physical exercises) I tried this method, and I'll be honest, it wasn't the most pleasant experience, but the results were worth it.Hydrocolontherapy (performed in clinics and medical institutions) This is a fantastic procedure, and the best part is that you don't have to drink anything, so your stomach is spared.Enema (this is the worst option, as it's unlikely to thoroughly clean your colon, only the surface. But it's better than nothing)My Experience:
I completed a 7-day juice detox, and each day was unique. The first few days were tough, with intense hunger pangs, despite the juices being incredibly tasty. I longed for something crunchy to munch on – a salad made from Chinese cabbage, or at the very least, some tomatoes and cucumbers.
By the 3-4th day, my face and décolletage were covered in tiny pimples, resembling a mild rash. This was the beginning of the detoxification process. During these days, I felt exhausted, my head was pounding, and all I wanted to do was curl up and do nothing.
But I took a deep breath, stopped feeling sorry for myself, and remembered that I had chosen to cleanse my body and improve my well-being. I made a conscious effort to smile more, focus on the positive, and before long, my situation and overall feeling improved. I felt a newfound lightness in my body, and I began spending more time outdoors, going for walks, cycling, and swimming.
I was bursting with energy - it was like I'd been plugged into a new battery. I'd run around the house like a kid, and nothing could bring me down. My thoughts felt clearer and more positive than ever.
Even bedtime was a breeze - I'd been struggling with insomnia, but this time I fell asleep instantly. I slept like a rock, and every day I woke up with a smile on my face.
Before I knew it, my 7-day detox was over. I was happy with the results, so I gradually reintroduced food into my diet. It's essential to do it gradually - you can't just dive back into your usual diet. Your digestive system has been on a break, and it needs time to adjust. The longer you fast, the smoother the transition will be.
I started with smoothies for 1.5 days, then added salads, and eventually worked my way back to my usual diet - which, by the way, is a raw food diet (I've been following it since spring).
My weight loss results
I lost around 2 kg, although I know some people have lost more. It really depends on your starting weight and how well you stick to the detox plan.
I'm really happy with the results - my figure looks a bit more toned, and my skin feels tighter.
I'm really loving this juicer, and I'd definitely recommend it - I'll be using it all summer long when the fruits are in season.
The KITFORT КТ-1101-1 Juicer is a great choice for anyone looking to start their juice detox journey.
