SUSESI Luxury Resort 5*, Turkey, Belek

I recently stayed at SUSESI Luxury Resort 5* in Turkey's Belek region, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. This 5-star resort has got the whole relaxation and adventure thing down pat, with top-notch amenities and service that'll make your stay truly unforgettable. Whether you're looking to unwind with a drink by the pool or explore the local area, SUSESI Luxury Resort has got everything you need for a memorable getaway. summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm still reeling from my nine-month vacation drought, and I was more than willing to splurge on a luxury getaway that would leave me feeling rejuvenated. My partner and I chose the SUSESI Luxury Resort 5-Star in Turkey for its promise of seclusion and top-notch service. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to stunning views of the Mediterranean and impeccable service. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with comfy beds and modern amenities that made us feel right at home. But the real star of the show was the resort's breathtaking beach and crystal-clear waters. I spent hours lounging by the pool and taking dips in the ocean, feeling my stress melt away with each passing day. But was it worth the hefty price tag? Keep reading to find out.

I'd been away from vacation for nine months, and I was so exhausted that I was willing to pay top dollar - just as long as they left me alone, fed me properly, and my belly could wobble in the sea breeze. In short, I needed a full-on 'turtle mode' break (which is why I chose Turkey).
Hotel: SUSESI Luxury Resort 5*.Dates: 26.05 - 02.06.2024.Cost for two adults: 250,000 rubles, including a transfer for three families (it's a bit like an individual transfer, but not quite. Either way, we loaded up and got there a lot faster than in a regular group transfer). From the International Antalya Airport to the hotel, it's about a 45-minute drive.Packaging option: ultra all-inclusive.
☼ Check-in
Business as usual: check-in at 14:00; luggage collection by 12:00. We arrived around 09:30 and were unpacking in our room by half past twelve. No wristbands. I think that's a great, eco-friendly approach. We filled out the documents and picked up two electronic keys and two towel cards.
☼ Room Number
We stayed in the standard room.
We were on the second floor. We had two double beds (we moved them apart). The bed sheets were crispy and clean. The mattresses were way too soft, but the pillows were a different story. We slept okay in the end.
There was another sleeping spot right next to us - a sofa bed. The floor was covered with laminate flooring and a carpet.
Opposite the beds, there was a TV and a workspace with a desk lamp.
The mini-bar in the fridge is a nice touch - it's stocked with sweet fizzy drinks, mineral water, chocolate wafers, fruit-flavored gum, and beer. It gets replenished every day after 2 pm. On the side table, you'll find bottled water, coffee and tea supplies, an electric kettle, cups and chips. The air conditioning system works flawlessly.
We always left one card in the compartment and folded up on the beach. Then you come back, and the room is fresh and nice. There's a balcony. It's got a table, two chairs, and a clothesline. The view is of the inner courtyard. It's super quiet at night, and even during the day, it's like a total zen zone.
The bathroom is a combined unit. It's spacious, and the toilet has a bidet function.
The shower cubicle has hot and cold water, and the pressure is strong.
On the countertop, I found:
shampoosconditionersbody lotionsbody washesrazorstoothbrushestoothpasteshower caps, loofahs, and paper towels
The powerful hair dryer was a nice touch. The set of towels was a nice bonus.
And in the hallway, there was a closet with...
robes safe hooks shoe cleaner and spoonpillows and warm blankets
☼ Cleaning
I was impressed with how easy it was to keep the floors and bathroom clean every day. We changed the sheets twice a week, which is more than I usually do at home!
☼What we ate
The SUSESI Luxury Resort 5* really delivered on quality, not quantity. No soy products in sight, just good old-fashioned meat and poultry. I brought 46.7 kg of food with me (at 152 cm tall), but left with 51 kg. Turkey really knows how to feed you - I didn't even want any sweets at home, but in Turkey, I'd devour a plate of doughnuts in one sitting. The portions were so big, I couldn't even breathe after dinner. And I just kept eating and eating...
When I'm eating this, I'm not just having a meal, I'm devouring it. And I'm squinting with joy. Burrata and sweet tomatoes; shrimp and mussels. And the berries?! And the pizza?! Who needs desserts when you've got cakes and pastries?
But honestly, it's hard to resist.
☼ Pools
Two massive pools and one tiny frog pond – all without heating.
I was totally fed up with tourists – mostly Germans, Poles, Spaniards, and Italians – leaving their towels on the sunbeds and then disappearing for the whole day. There were hardly any Russians, but that's a different story. The lack of sunbeds was catastrophic. I spent two days fighting for a spot, and on the third day, I woke up at 7:30, just in time to see the towel hut open at 8:00. ...and at 7:50, I snapped this photo: ...and this: I'm too embarrassed to ask, but what time do you wake up? I'm not proud of it, but I've been waking up early too, grabbing some towels, and securing a spot on the sunbed. It's just the way it is. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right. Am I being ridiculous? Maybe. But I'm not the only one, right? ☼ Restrooms
I was starting to think I'd never find one. I was ready to give up and sit under a palm tree. But then, voilà!
But still, it's not enough. If you need to go, you'll have to walk a bit.
☼ Beach
The first beach we came across.
The sand in Belek is coarse, and the sea is murky, especially in May. We had rain and high tide one day, and then it was sunny and low tide the next.
I'll never forget that mid-August moment - it was pure bliss. I'd just walked along the beach, sipped a cocktail, and gazed out at the sea. I swear, I was the happiest person for those 30 minutes!
The entrance is super gentle, and there's even a shallow area for wading.
☼ The bars
Lobby bar Beach bar Pool bars
The imported drinks were top-notch, and I enjoyed sipping them, but they didn't leave me feeling rough the next morning.
With the Wi-Fi signal in the room being a bit spotty, I was surprised to find that I could still manage to 'sweet-talk' five cocktails into me without feeling too hungover to wake up the next morning. ☼ Wi-fi
Wi-Fi signal in the room is a bit weak, but it's
