To be honest, I only open the Sunlight app when I'm looking to pick out a piece of jewelry for myself.I'd heard about Sunlight's New Year's pendants and even seen some reviews, but for some reason, I thought they were given away as rewards for purchases or something. I didn't need any new jewelry pieces in the near future.

And then, just a few days ago, a friend asked me to grab her Sunlight pendant using a promo code because she didn't have time after work, and she specifically asked for the horseshoe design if it was available.

I thought maybe she'd recently made a purchase and was given the promo code as a reward. Of course, as a friend, I obliged and opened the Sunlight app on her behalf.

When I presented the promo code, the sales assistant asked me to open the Sunlight app. I got a bit flustered and started making excuses – it wasn't for me, it was for my friend, I have another account on the Sunlight app. But the sales assistant just laughed and said it didn't matter, she just needed to show any Sunlight account.

She then offered me a few options for pendants, and the gold horseshoe really stood out – the other pendants were silver and didn't catch my eye.
