A Day to Remember in St. Petersburg

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently took the Dvor and Palace Tour in St. Petersburg and had an absolute blast. The views from the observation deck were seriously stunning, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the city's history. We got to see some amazing palaces and grand buildings that I'd never seen before, but the tour was a bit too long for my taste, and some of the palaces we wanted to see were closed to the public. I'd still recommend this tour to history buffs and architecture enthusiasts, but be prepared for a marathon day.

A Day to Remember in St. Petersburg
I just got back from the 'Dворы и парадные Петербурга' tour, and it was an eye-opener. We hit the observation deck, and the views of the city were simply stunning.
The tour was well-planned, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the city's history. We got to check out some amazing palaces and grand buildings, and the trip to the observation deck was the icing on the cake.
But here's the thing - the tour was a bit too long for my taste, and some folks in our group were feeling pretty beat by the end of the day. To make matters worse, some of the palaces and grand buildings we wanted to see were closed to the public, which was a real letdown.
Overall, I'd still recommend this tour to anyone who loves history and architecture. Just be aware that it's a bit of a marathon, and you might want to pace yourself. If you're looking for something shorter and more low-key, there are plenty of other options to choose from.
