A Disappointing Visit to Smile Park in Kazan

summarizeEditor's Summary

We visited Smile Park in Kazan expecting a fun day out, but things didn't quite live up to our expectations. The park itself was pretty cool, with some awesome police hats on display, and the scenery was nice. However, we were disappointed by the lack of flexibility in their activities and the overpriced photo opportunities. The experience was a total letdown, especially for the kids. A Not-So-Smiling Experience in Kazan
We headed to Smile Park in Kazan on June 10, 2025, expecting a fun day out. But things didn't quite go as planned. When we got there, we were told that we'd need to buy a ticket for access to all 7 locations, not just one. That was a bit of a bummer, especially since we'd already been to other places.
The park itself was pretty cool, with some awesome police hats on display. However, they didn't have any park-themed t-shirts for sale, which was a shame. And to make matters worse, we were forced to do some tasks with other people, which was a total surprise. We thought we'd be able to do it all together, like usual, but that wasn't the case.
My kids were pretty upset about it after we left the park, and let me tell you, it was a major disappointment. I just don't get why Smile Park has so many positive reviews - it didn't live up to our expectations at all.
And if that wasn't enough, they were selling photos with a frame for 1200 rubles, even though a regular photo was only 500 rubles. To be honest, the photos were basically the same, just on different backgrounds, which didn't add any value at all. It felt like they were just milking us for more cash.
In the end, we had a total letdown at Smile Park. The price was way too high, and we didn't get what we paid for. I think we'd have been better off sticking to the other attractions in Kazan.
