Sisley Creamy Mask with Tropical Resins

I'm totally hooked on Sisley's Creamy Mask - it's like giving my skin a spa treatment. This rich, creamy mask is packed with nourishing tropical resins that help soften and smooth out fine lines, leaving my skin feeling silky and refreshed. It's a total game-changer for anyone with dry or dehydrated skin, adding a much-needed boost of moisture and hydration to their skincare routine. I've used it a few times now, and I can honestly say it's made a big difference in how my skin looks and feels.

Sisley Mask for 7,000 Rubles: Not Worth the Hype

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was really looking forward to trying out the Sisley mask, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the hype. With a price tag of 7,000 rubles, I expected a game-changing skincare experience. The mask itself is nice to look at, but it's not worth the money. I've tried better masks for a fraction of the cost. The packaging is sleek and modern, but that's about where the positives end. The mask doesn't do much for my skin, and the ingredients list is a bit concerning. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to exercise caution or do a patch test before using it.

Sisley Mask for 7,000 Rubles: Not Worth the Hype
Hey there!
I've got a mixed bag of thoughts to share about the Sisley mask.
The first thing that comes to mind is how I rushed to the River Mall to get my hands on it.
I was running super late, with only an hour to spare before the store closed. Traffic was a nightmare, and it took me 40 minutes to get there instead of the usual 10. I arrived at the store, looking frazzled but excited. I snagged a few goodies, including my favorite balm and powder. The balm cost around 3,500 rubles, and the powder was about 6,000 rubles. I was able to splurge a bit thanks to the store's discounts. However, I still had to make do without a few treats.
As I was checking out, the Sisley consultant handed me a little pouch with a bunch of samples. I was excited to try them out.
The Sisley mask costs around 5,000 rubles on the official website, but since it was out of stock, I had to buy it from a retail store, where it ranged from 5,600 to 8,000 rubles. I was hoping it would be worth the splurge, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations.
The mask has a thick consistency and a herbal scent, which I actually really liked. It's a bit pricey, but I was hoping for some amazing results.
Here's how you use it:
Apply a thick layer 1-2 times a week to areas with excess oil, avoiding the eye contour. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it off with plenty of water. You can also use it as a spot treatment to prevent acne (leave it on overnight). Afterward, you can apply a toner or a tropical lotion with grapefruit resin.
I applied it for 13 minutes, and I love overdoing it with masks and skincare products.
The manufacturer claims that the mask:
Thanks to its purifying properties, mirra, frankincense, and benzoin cream-mask with tropical resins provides a solution for combination and oily skin. It cleanses, absorbs excess sebum, and tightens pores. It also nourishes the epidermis, regulates sebum production, and gives the skin elasticity and softness without causing irritation.
So, what can I say? This mask didn't blow me away. It's not bad, but for the price, I expected more. It didn't deep clean my pores, and my acne didn't improve. My skin did look a bit brighter and felt softer, but that's about it. I'd say it's worth about the same as a budget-friendly mask.
I did look a bit fresher afterward, but was it worth the hefty price tag? I don't think so. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.
Pros and Cons:
Thick consistency and herbal scent Easy to apply and use May help to soften and brighten the skin Not worth the price tag Didn't deep clean pores or improve acne
Rating: 2/5
I was really looking forward to trying the Sisley mask, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. While it's not a bad product, I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, I'd say look elsewhere.
