My Disappointing Experience with the SHARY Hand Spa Ritual Hand Mask Gloves
Hello everyone!
Winter can be brutal on my hands, and I'm always on the lookout for something to keep them moisturized. As someone who's prone to dry skin, I've tried just about every trick in the book.
I thought the SHARY Hand Spa Ritual Hand Mask Gloves might be the solution I'd been searching for, but they didn't quite live up to the hype.
SHARY Hand Spa Ritual Hand Mask Gloves
Country of origin South Korea
Weight 22g
Price 130 rubles
Packaging
The gloves come in pretty standard packaging that's similar to what you'd find for fabric masks. I was a bit surprised that SHARY didn't go for a more premium look for their product.
The design on the packaging is pretty feminine and eye-catching, which immediately caught my attention. But, unfortunately, it didn't quite translate to the quality of the product inside.
On the back of the packaging, you'll find a detailed description in Russian of the active ingredients, composition, usage, manufacturer, and expiration date.
For convenience, the manufacturer added two special slits on the sides of the packaging, just above the top.
Ingredients
Argan Oil prevents skin cell aging, makes skin elastic and soft.
Jojoba Oil stimulates collagen synthesis, improves skin structure, and slows down the aging process.
Olive Oil deeply nourishes and optimizes skin tissue renewal.
Granny Smith Extract has moisturizing and restoring effects for dry, exhausted skin, giving it a fresh, healthy look.
Ginkgo Biloba Extract improves exchange processes, increases blood circulation, and removes toxins.
Turmeric Extract helps improve skin color, brightens, and reduces pigmentation.
Mint Extract boosts epidermal defense functions, stimulates blood circulation, has a soothing effect, and reduces fatigue.
Extraction of Pomegranate smooths, moisturizes, and rejuvenates the skin, removing its flakiness by eliminating dead cells.
Characteristics
Smell: to be honest, I wasn't a fan of the scent. It wasn't overpowering, but it was definitely off-putting. I was willing to overlook it for the potential benefits.
Material of gloves: the gloves themselves are well-made, but the fit could be improved.
The top of the gloves is made of a dense, waterproof material that feels smooth to the touch, similar to the material used in insoles. Inside, there's a woven material infused with the 'magic' formula.
As you can see from the photo, the glove is pretty wide and fits even my slightly larger hands.
I didn't have a stabilizer in the wrist area - the space is quite wide, while my wrist is pretty narrow. So, I was constantly struggling to keep the gloves from falling off my hands.
Method of use
I used the gloves as instructed:
First, I washed my hands with soap.Next, I opened the package and pulled out the two gloves, which were easy to put on.Then, I was supposed to leave the gloves on for 15-20 minutes, but I kept them on for 25.After that, I removed the gloves and massaged the remaining essence into both hands.By the way, you can use your phone while wearing these gloves - the touchscreen works great.
My impressions after use
When I took the gloves off after 25 minutes, I found a small amount of essence left on my hands, which had been absorbed from the woven material inside the gloves.
At first, I thought I could see some moisturizing effect, but it was just a fleeting thought...
Hands right after removing the gloves
Okay, so let's talk about the effect of using this hand mask:
I didn't feel any discomfort while wearing the gloves - in fact, the thick material on top made my hands feel warm and cozy.Applying the gloves was pretty comfortable, apart from the fact that they're a bit too big.As for moisturizing, nourishing, and restoring my hands - totally no effect. My skin remained dry and tight, just like before. The cuticles didn't change either.Hands before applying the gloves

Complete failure to deliver on their promises... I mean, there's no magic solution that'll work right off the bat. But at least give me some temporary relief, you know?
If you have super dry hands, I wouldn't recommend these hand masks at all! They don't do anything.
I was really hoping to find a solution to my dry skin issues, but unfortunately, these hand mask gloves didn't deliver. The packaging was pretty standard, and the design was eye-catching, but that's where it ended.
The gloves themselves were well-made, but the fit could be improved. I had to constantly adjust them to keep them from falling off my hands.
As for the ingredients, they seemed promising - argan oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil are all great for moisturizing and nourishing the skin. But, unfortunately, they didn't seem to have any effect on my dry skin.
I was expecting a lot more from these hand mask gloves, but they fell short in every way. If you have dry hands, I'd say steer clear of these.
