CONSISTENCY, TEXTURE, SCENT:

The shampoo has a medium-thick consistency, a slightly opaque color with a hint of beige.

I'm loving the scent of this shampoo - it's like a sweet cherry aroma, but not just cherry, there's a nice woody note to it too. It's not overpowering, just a subtle blend of cherry and almond that really works.

My Experience with Using It:

I've got super dry, frizzy hair that's prone to tangling, especially in the cold weather. This shampoo doesn't do much to restore my hair's moisture or tame the frizz, it's basically just a clarifying agent. I'd even say it makes my hair more prone to knotting.

My hair's also getting drier, not smoother, after using it. The only saving grace is the nice scent, which is a big plus. I've got to say, it's a shame the balm from this series (Semily's Parfumyered Balm for Hair) doesn't do a better job of soothing my hair.

This shampoo might be okay for people with normal, moisturized hair, but for me, it's a miss.

I wash my bangs separately from the rest of my hair before styling, and you can see how foamy the shampoo gets with just a small amount (that's a picture from the description above).

Verdict:

I have to admit, I was initially stoked about the scent of this shampoo, but beyond that, it's just an average product that's done nothing but mess with my hair and dry it out. Needless to say, I won't be repurchasing.

I'd recommend it (if you're into the scent and you've got naturally healthy, moisturized locks) in any other case, I'd say don't bother

Semily's Parfumyered Hair Balm - This hair balm smells great and only lightly smooths my hair after shampooing, but it's just not enough, and it's still a bit too runny for my liking!
