Saturday Night Massacre (2025, film)I'm not exactly a fan of action movies. They're just not my thing!
But, I recently decided to give Saturday Night Massacre a try. Let me tell you first - this movie is definitely more of a comedy than an action film, and it's a pretty good one.
I really enjoyed the movie, it was super interesting, and I had a blast laughing throughout. I spent the whole time smiling and enjoying the film.
Now, I want to share my thoughts on watching this movie!
Let's get started with the review!

Plot
The story starts off by telling you about the life of one family. Brian, the dad, is a pretty chill, family-oriented, and kind guy. He lives with his wife and son. Brian runs into some problems at work, and next thing you know, he's stuck taking care of his son at home instead of his wife. He's actually really good at being a dad, spends lots of time with his son, and tries to be a good role model for him.
Kill Saturday (2025, film)Kill Saturday (2025, film)I went to a birthday party with my son, and that's when I met Jeff, another dad. But he's a whole different ball game - more laid-back, but super intense. Meeting him turned my life upside down.
Kill Saturday (2025, film)Jeff's parenting style is a total departure from what I'm used to. He immediately considers my son a buddy, and they spend a ton of time together.
Kill Saturday (2025, film)Then, out of nowhere, we find ourselves in a life-threatening situation. We try to navigate these challenges and lay low, but we do it in a pretty extreme way. What those problems are and why they're after Jeff is revealed in the movie. And how our heroes manage to overcome them and resolve the issues is pretty compelling to watch.
Kill Saturday (2025, film)Main Characters
Brian Jennings (played by Kevin James)
Killer Saturday (2025, film)This dad is trying his best to be a good role model for his son. He gets himself into a pretty messed-up situation and tries to wriggle his way out of it and keep his kid safe.
Killer Saturday (2025, film)Kevin absolutely nailed his performance. That scene with the fox was hilarious – I was laughing out loud. Plus, there were plenty of other funny moments, and the actor's charisma was infectious, making it a joy to watch him.
Lucas
This is the son, Brian. He's a pretty decent kid, trying his best to be good and kind. He's just having a tough time connecting with his peers – he tries, but it doesn't quite work out.
Killer Saturday (2025, film)His passion is dancing, and he absolutely loves it. But his dad wants him to focus on more sports-related activities and become a 'real man.'
Killer Saturday (2025, film)The kid did an amazing job in his role – he's got some serious talent. I couldn't say he ruined the role, and he even added a bit of extra flair to it. He absolutely aced it!
Dave Emon (played by Alan Richardson)
This guy is incredibly charismatic and a bit of a wild card. He's a former special forces operative with some pretty interesting parenting methods.
Killer Saturday (2025, film)I think this role was the standout in the movie, and he really brought it to life. Alan's performance, the way he conveyed emotions, was absolutely fantastic! If they'd cast anyone else in this role, I think the movie would have fallen flat. Watching it was really engaging and ridiculously funny!
Killer Saturday (2025, film)CJ
This kid is really interesting and a bit quirky. For the most part, he behaves like a robot lacking emotions and feelings. He's completely non-stop, sleeps very little, and acts really strangely.
Killer Saturday (2025, film)It was cool to watch this kid, he played his part perfectly. Some moments were really surprising and completely unexpected.
Killer Saturday (2025, film)Simon Maddox
Killer Saturday (2025, film)This guy is super talented and into science, but he's also got a dark side - he clones bad robots. He's a bit odd, but in a good way. Unfortunately, he was barely in the movie, so I don't have much to say about his performance.
Colonel Kurtz
Killer Saturday (2025, film)This is a colonel and a former boss of Jeff's. They used to work together under his command. What a strange guy with strange desires. He either went for a dirty trick or a clever move and created something inhuman. And that just sent everyone into a panic.
This is a secondary role, but it's been done well and it was interesting to watch.
Visuals
The film is shot very brightly, interestingly, the pictures look incredibly beautiful. In some moments, the graphics were a bit off, and it looked a bit unnatural. But that's not the biggest problem, so I can overlook it. All in all, the film turned out to be very engaging and exciting.
Killer Saturday (2025, film) Killer Saturday (2025, film)And the most important thing was that it was so interesting to watch the situation unfold in the film.
While watching, I genuinely laughed out loud, even relaxed during the film. It didn't put me on edge or feel dragged out in any way. Time flew by unnoticed, and I spent it with huge enjoyment.
Killer Saturday (2025, film) Killer Saturday (2025, film)Father knows best! The film clearly shows how dads raise their kids, and it's a far cry from the way moms do it.
Killer Saturday (2025, movie)Killer Saturday (2025, movie)What I love most is that they do love their kids - they just do it differently, showing their love in unique ways.
