I've had mixed experiences with SADOER products, but this essence was a letdown. At first, I thought it was decent, but it didn't quite deliver on the anti-aging front. Then some weird side effects kicked in, which I'll get into later.
👋♈Price and where to buy
I picked it up for 99 rubles at Fix Price, which is a decent deal. Comparable products at VTB cost around 170 rubles, and at LetyShops, it's a whopping 230 rubles.
👋♈ Made in: China
👋♈ Volume: 15 ml
👋♈ Shelf life after opening: 12 months
👋♈ Packaging
I managed to snap a photo of the packaging before I got rid of it.
The essence came in a silica gel packet, which was a nice touch.
Omlazhivaushchaya essence SADOER For skin around the eyes with retinol
The box itself is made of sturdy cardboard with a golden finish.
One side shows what the serum looks like, the other has a before-and-after shot that's a bit too unrealistic – an older woman suddenly becomes young and radiant. The third side lists the product's effects and some info about the manufacturer, while the fourth side has the ingredients, usage instructions, precautions, and storage conditions.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around the Eyes with Retinol The SADOER brand name is at the top, and there's nothing at the bottom.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around the Eyes with Retinol The tube looks different from what's shown on the packaging. I thought the coating would have a metallic effect, but it's just the same shape.
The bottle is thin and elongated, with a dark beige color that's slightly glossy. The brand name is at the front.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around the Eyes with Retinol The back has the name and volume.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around the Eyes with Retinol The expiration date is standard, and it's the same after opening.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around the Eyes with Retinol The silver roller dispenses the essence.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the Skin Around Your Eyes with RetinolIt's worth the price, but that's about it. The packaging looks cheap, feels cheap, and the roller's not refrigerated, so it's just slightly cool to the touch. The essence takes a bit of effort to get through it at first, but once I got the hang of it, I didn't need to rub my skin around my eyes as much. At first, the roller did spin a bit, but by the third use, it stopped. If those were the only downsides, I'd be willing to overlook them for the price, but unfortunately, they're just a few of many issues.

👋♈ Promises
This essence is packed with a rich formula that hydrates the skin around your eyes, making it feel softer and more nourished. The retinol in the formula helps to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
Hydration, smoothing effect, fresh look
Hydrates, smooths, and refines
The promises for such an affordable essence are pretty impressive. The hydration's okay, but the smoothing... I'm not so sure.
On the packaging, I noticed that the words 's p o s o b s t v u e t r a z g l a j i v a n i y u' are written with spaces, while the rest of the text is normal. I guess they highlighted those words to make us wait for the smoothing effect, but it's unclear how to evaluate that.
👋♈ My skin
I have thin and sensitive skin around my eyes, and any cream except for the purple one from VT Cosmetics makes me break out.
I'm 26, and I don't have wrinkles yet, but I do have some creases. They get worse when my skin dries out, which is constant during winter. When I moisturize well, they're less noticeable.
Dark circles are quite pronounced.
👋♈ My expectations
I didn't expect anything from a 99-ruble cream. I thought it would just be a curiosity, and I'd be happy if it at least moisturized a bit. Even if it didn't make things worse than before, that would be good enough.
👋♈ The scent
It doesn't have a strong smell, and that's a plus.
👋♈ Texture
It was hard to capture on camera, and I had to apply it several times to get a decent shot.
Anti-aging essence SADOER For skin around the eyes with retinolThe texture is similar to a very thin serum. It's not water, but close. The consistency is uniform, with no particles or other imperfections.
At first, it absorbs almost instantly. Then, it leaves a sticky residue. It lasts for a pretty long time, maybe an hour. It doesn't bother me, but it's definitely noticeable.
Then things get weird. The stickiness seems to fade, but when I touch the skin around my eyes, it feels like I've got a thick, gloopy cream slapped on. Spoiler alert: there's no actual moisturizing going on, despite the initial impression that there is.
Value for money is hard to assess. I bought the cream on Saturday, used it on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings, and was horrified – I've since put it away to avoid torturing my eyes. To be honest, you don't need a lot for one go. It depends on how much you massage in. If you've got a cream with a massaging nozzle, you can get away with a small amount and just use that, but with this roller, you're constantly applying the serum – easy to overdo it.
Another thing to note: I only used the essence in the evenings, as usual, with nothing else in the morning. But the consilier performed worse than usual, stuck, and slid around in some areas.
👋♈Application
Instructions from the packaging:
Using the roller applicator, evenly distribute the serum onto dry, cleansed skin around the eyes with gentle, gliding motions along the massage lines
How I use it: the same way. The essence, like any eye care product, was my final step in the evening routine.
After all the face creams, I applied the essence, spreading it evenly with a roller, doing a gentle massage. Because the serum kept coming out, I didn't massage for too long, no more than a minute, or it would be too much product. Without a fridge, the applicator was only slightly cool, but the massage itself was still pretty good. Too bad I couldn't leave the roller without the essence. To be honest, after two applications, it stopped rolling, so the movements weren't as smooth and slippery, so I'm not too bothered.
I also tried applying the essence to the area between my eyebrows. It wasn't very comfortable due to the applicator, but it's a small area, so maybe it's doable.
👋♈Before
The wrinkles are slightly visible (mainly at the transition from the eye to the cheek), but it's not a major issue.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the skin around the eyes with retinolThe area between the eyebrows is hard to see on the photo, but it's more noticeable in real life.

👋♈ Right after application
The skin is shiny due to the sticky serum. Because of this shine, the wrinkles aren't as noticeable.
Anti-Aging Essence SADOER For the skin around the eyes with retinol👋♈ "It's stuck" on the skin
After a few minutes, the skin doesn't shine as much, but the bruises seem less pronounced.
SADOER Anti-Aging Essence For The Skin Around Your Eyes With RetinolWithin a couple of hours, the stickiness goes away, and you're left with this weird sensation of a thick cream, like I mentioned earlier. It even looks better than it did before.
SADOER Anti-Aging Essence For The Skin Around Your Eyes With Retinol👋♈After
It still looks pretty good in the morning after the first use.
SADOER Anti-Aging Essence For The Skin Around Your Eyes With RetinolThe area between my eyebrows hasn't changed at all – it's always been like that, and it just looks more pronounced in the photo, but that's not actually the case.

👋♈Even worse after
And here's the thing – the worst part. After the second use, I thought it was just my imagination. After the third, I was convinced it wasn't.
Anti-aging essence SADOER For skin around the eyes with retinol I was surprised to see more fine lines appear in places where they never were before, and they seemed to be etched into my skin.
It's been a few days since I've been using the essence, and they're slowly fading away.
👋♈Effects and impressions
Visually noticeable effects:
After the first use, the fine lines were less noticeable, but after the second and especially the third use, they became more prominent. What I feel:
The essence stays sticky on my skin for a long time. After the stickiness fades away, I get the sensation that my skin has been coated with a thick, dense cream, but there's no actual hydration. How well it performed its claimed actions:
Moisturizes the skin around my eyes, making it softer and more nourished – nope. Helps to smooth out facial wrinkles – nope, it actually made them worse. I didn't expect the essence to completely smooth out my skin around my eyes for 99 rubles. I'd be happy with just a bit of hydration to give it a good rating and continue using it from time to time. At the very least, I wouldn't want it to make things worse than they were before.
The essence has a strange texture and finish. The serum is liquid. It absorbs quickly, but about an hour later, it leaves a sticky residue. Then, there's this finish that's hard to describe – it's like my skin has been coated with a thick cream, a bit velvety. It creates a misleading impression that my skin is hydrated and nourished. In reality, it's not.
I have to say, I was really excited about this essence after the first use. My skin looked smooth, and the fine lines were barely noticeable. I was thinking I'd be writing a glowing review after using it for a few more weeks. But that didn't happen.
After the second use, things started to go downhill, but I thought maybe it was just my imagination or not because of this essence.
But after the third time, it was clear that it wasn't just my imagination. The fine lines actually became more noticeable and deeper. It was like they were etched into my skin, but thankfully, they went away once I stopped using the essence. There's no moisturizing effect from the essence at all. Instead, I got a false sense that it was moisturizing, I'm not sure why, maybe it's the finish. Then I'd look at my skin and see that it was actually getting worse than before.
The packaging also has some downsides. At first, the massaging roller was a nice feature, but after the second use, the roller just stopped working. This made it hard to distribute the serum evenly. I ended up just smacking it onto my skin with my fingers instead of massaging it with the roller.
If this essence was just a waste of money, and I wasn't so disappointed, I'd have been okay with it for the price. If it just moisturized my skin, I'd have been happy to give it 4 or even 5 stars, considering the price. But it doesn't do anything and actually makes my skin worse. Too bad I can't give it a negative rating. I'd definitely not recommend this essence, not even to try it out of curiosity. I wanted to say I'd stop experimenting with Fix's cosmetics, but I'm too curious to try new things.
My reviews of some good eye creams from vt cosmetics with vibrating massagers:
I've tried a few of the line-up, but this one with micro-needles, PDRN, and gold is my least favorite.
On the other hand, the collagen version is a game-changer.
And let's be real, the micro-needle one is the only cream that doesn't make my eyes puff up.
